i was told by Scott ( whom was very helpful) that my car would be picked up "within" the week of the 23 Aug. Needless to say it was not until the 4th of Sept. and this was only after i called SERVERAL times to ask where my car was was told like many ppl here before that there needs to be and increase of $50 in order for a driver to take the car ( mind you i have given a deposit of $150) the company then tells me my car would be delivered on Tues OR weds the 6 or 7 of aug. Contacted the driver Andre.. who said NO MAYBE THURS OR FRIDAY... called the driver thurs .. NO CAR... friday was told by the drver he was in Austin (2hrs away) this was a 2:11pm... its now 8:40pm and i called him again.. and was told SATURDAY with no clear time... I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. THIS HAS BEEN THE BY FAR THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD TO ENDORE. As a Veteran of the Armed Forces i would have expected more for a company to uphold the values. I URGE YOU PLEASE PLEASE PROCEED WITH CAUTION. At this point, i would just want MY CAR OUT OF THEIR HANDS!!! (more)

We live in Florida and purchased a car in Virginia. Then came the challenge of how to get it to Florida. I have never had to transport a car before. We found New Way Moving Services during a web search and requested an online quote. Michael followed up with a call and answered all of our questions and was great. We felt safe turning our car over to them. The entire process was great! Michael kept us informed the entire time; from collection to delivery. And the bonus was that the driver made fantastic time. : Bait and Switch Operation with no Integrity
Be Aware of this Scam-Artist Organization… I contracted their service for my son’s vehicle to be moved from FL to SC for $299.00. The Agent assured me it would be moved in the time frame we contracted She even said I was on a popular route and there are drivers desperate to take vehicles back North because of the Snowbirds shipping their cars to the South. Long story short, the day the moved was going to take place, I was told it would be an additional $200 if I wanted it moved. Their excuse was I live 15 miles from the interstate and no driver wanted to go off the path of Interstate 10. I waited more than a week and they did this to me! I had to scramble to buy my son a one way ticket for $600, and ruin his Thanksgiving plans so he could fly in to get the car so he could make it back in time for school. Funny thing is two other companies I contacted told me that New Way is known of their “Bait and Switch” tactics from other customers and most people give in because it is the last minute and are desperate to mover their vehicle. In addition, if you do decide to go through the hassle of contracting them, Do not—I repeat, Do Not give your credit card info to them. They were supposed to do an authorization on my card for $75 but instead charged my card for the full $299.00. I have called and emailed at least 15-20 times and have gotten the run around since I cancelled the contract . Good thing is they were stupid enough to send me emails saying I would get a full refund . It’s been three weeks and am tired of “Someone will call you back in a few minutes, the manager of the department won’t be in until Next Week, the system is down, etc.. You don’t know how many times I called to resolve this problem. Though my CC company will refund the money and I will be contacting the BBB, I hope this review opens their eyes and they stop operating a Fly-By-Night Mom and Pop shop that is not conducive with today’s Customer Service standards. New Way Services…. I now have the last laugh! I just hope and pray my experience gets out to all the customers looking to move their vehicles around the country (more)

Please be advised that New Way moving should be called "no way moving" I paid $175 deposit and was quoted an additional $550 plus $100 since the vehicle was inoperable and needed to be winched. The driver arrived and did not have space on the bottom deck so he left. I requested another attempt a month later but they never sent a truck and advised that a winch could not be located. NEVER hire this company! I paid them a $175 deposit in March based on an $875 quote to haul a car that I had purchased in Florida. They were more than happy to take my deposit, and told me that the car would be picked up by a carrier that week. I was told that I would be contacted with regular status updates and that everything was all set.
To this day, the only call that I have ever received from New Way was the day before my car was supposed to be picked up. The dispatcher told me the they were having trouble finding a carrier to haul my car because the price of diesel fuel had gone up. They wanted me to authorize an additional $100 to help them find a carrier. I refused, after all we had signed a contract and they told me that we were all set to have a carrier pick up the car.
A few days later, after no communication from New Way, I called and offered to increase my contract by $50 if it helped to get the car moved. Thankfully the guy I bought the car from was really cool about things and let me leave it parked at his place.
After about 3 weeks, I still had not received a call of any kind from New Way, and eery time I called, I got a crappy attitude from them, and no carrier to haul my car. It became apparent that the reason that they were so much cheaper than most other carriers us that they have no skin in the game if no carrier will haul a car for them. They will just keep your deposit, and leave you hanging.
I ended up flying to Florida and driving the car home myself, which was actually cheaper than what I would have paid them to haul it.
I have been trying to get my deposit back since June, but am unable to. First, I sent an email requesting a refund to their customer service department. I clicked on the link to CS on their web page, and got no response. Come to find out, they say that the email address in the link is incorrect and they gave me another one to use. I used that one, and submitted the form to get a refund by both email and fax. No response at all. I have called the company multiple times, and get the "transfer" from person to person until eventually a voicemail. This is the typical scenario with this company.
New Way is only a broker, so in other words, they take your money after quoting you a price to haul your car. Then they try to find a carrier to haul your car for whatever is left minus their deposit/broker fee. So you see, if they don't find anybody, they don't care. They get the same money either way. And they sure aren't too worried about give you most of your money back. Their contract says that they will keep $35 no matter what. But in reality they will keep the whole deposit.
If you need your car hauled, DO NOT use this broker. Sure, they will quote you a better price than most carriers, but there is no guarantee that they will honor it, and it is pretty likely that you will lose your deposit if they fail to find a carrier. I will never seamy $175 again, but hopefully somebody reading this will not lose theirs. (more)

I made a big mistake. I trusted this company to get my car moved. They took my deposit, never performed any service (except lip service), and now won’t give the deposit back. Thieves. Do not use NO WAY.
This company misleads its customers into believing their car will be transported at the quote they give, asks for a deposit on your credit card, never provides the service, instead tries to squeeze more money from the customer, and refuses to return the deposit. This company is not to be trusted, no matter what they tell you or what self-serving reviews they have out there.
After I gave them my credit card for a deposit, I got an email asking me to sign a contract that gave away any rights you have. “The customer agree that he will pay the broker fee to New way moving services and will NOT seek to charge back a credit card or dispute any charge once processing had began on his order.” I did not sign that contract. It thought that it would have given my consent for No Way to keep my deposit without performing any service. Guess what? They kept my deposit anyway.
How I wish I had read reviews and complaints concerning this company before all of this occurred. I could and should have read the many very negative reviews and complaints lodged against this company from former customers that had identical experiences with this company as I had. Like most people who do not use this kind of a service very often, if ever, I too was not prepared to beware of dealing with an underhanded company like this. Others will likely become their victims just like me.
I now know that to be accredited by Better Business Bureau of Miami, Florida a company needs to apply and BBB needs to determine if a company meets their accreditation standards: Build Trust, Advertise Honestly, Tell the Truth, Be Transparent, Honor Promises, Be Responsive, Safeguard Privacy, Embody Integrity. New Way is not accredited by BBB.
I found that BBB grades a company across these factors: Complaint History, Type of Business, Time in Business, Business Background, Failure to Honor Commitments to BBB, Licensing and Government Actions, and Advertising Issues. On a scale of A to F, has now downgraded New Way again and now BBB gives this company a grade of D. You can guess what I would give them.
My advice: Do not use this company. There are other companies that will not take a deposit until they find a driver and you agree to the price.
Somehow New Way should be stopped from using these deceptive practices to trick people who just want to get their car transported at the price to which they agreed, so that there won’t be more victims like me for New Way.

I was quoted a price of $425.00 from origin to destination. After the 72 cancellation period New Way informed me that they could not move the vehicle for the price quoted and said the new fee was $575.00. I was not able to cancel due to the fact that they waited until after the 72 hours to raise the price for delivery of the truck. When you receive a quote from a Company and they take a deposit they should not be able to change the quote. In this case the quote was over 50% higher than what they originally told me. By then I was stuck and they did not care at all. Overall my experience with New Way was very poor. I would not recommend them to anyone at all. (more)

New Way Moving used a bait and switch on their quoted price, approximately 4 days after their final pick-up date (after they wrote the contract to give themselves an additiaonl 5 days from the start) That might be hard to understand but the bottom line is they were about 20 days late according to the contract, then they raised the price. After they raised the price, the claimed they found a carrier, then I was told there were weather delays in one phone call, the next phone call they told me the pick-up truck had broken down. They asked if I wanted to repost to find a new carrier at which time I said no, however New Way Moving refused to return my deposit.
Not to mention ignored phone calls and emails. (more)

I found out about New Way Moving Services from a friend of my wife who used them. So far they've moved the contents of my two store house to a storage unit and soon they'll move them to our new place. They've been very responsive, took their time, packed stuff up really well, and were very good movers. They're not necessarily cheap but they do the proper amount of work well.

It was nice. They did the moving job pretty professionally. They also came on time and everything went as planned. It was very nice. The thing I liked the most was they were very prompt. They did everything on time. They were very punctual. Their rate was very good and it fit into my budget. In that aspect I would recommend that to my friends, and also for quality service and the time they take to do all those things. So I would recommend for that also. New Way Moving quoted a price, said they had a driver, took a deposit, then came back and said it would be $100 more!! I refused to pay additional fees and they kept calling with offers to pick up for additional money, and even offered to "split it" so I would only pay an extra $50. I continued to refuse to pay extra and they called one day before the contract was up (including 4 day grace period) to say they had a driver the following week if I was willing to wait. I agreed to wait and setup the vehicle for pickup. They called last minute the day before pickup to say it would be more money or they could not pick up the vehicle. I requested a refund for my deposit and was told I "Probably won't get anything". Long story short I had to go through my Credit Card agency to get my refund. DON"T USE THIS COMPANY, but if you do get entrapped as I did, ask for help from your credit card agency! (more)

I just got a call from someone very rude who informed me that the lower price I was quoted by someone else meant my car would not be delivered and he hung up on me. They work only to steal your $150 deposit fee. These people are the worst ever service i have faced in my life. They will never contact you or pick up your car. Once you cancel their order, they will not return your initial fee $150, untill you dispute the transaction through your CC.

If I could sum up New Way Moving Solutions in one word, it would be this: PROMPT! They were very professional, straightforward, and honest about every step of the process. It was immediately obvious that they work with a sense of urgency while being careful to be within the proper time frames presented to them. A plan and route was put into place PROMPTLY, I was always contacted PROMPTLY when changes would be made or action would be taken, and nothing proceeded without my say-so! I even hit a snag and had to cancel on them once and they still managed to keep at the excellent rate while working with my schedule change(s). I would definitely use this booking company again, no doubt!! I got my car in the shape it left the origin in and never felt as though I needed to worry otherwise! TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! DON’T USE NEW WAY
I had an awful experience with New Way moving when I was transporting my car from NJ to northern CA. A coworker used New Way to move her car from Florida to New York and she said it was great. So I went on her recommendation and called to book it. I got a call back right away when I left the message that I would like to book the transportation. I received the quote for $950 and left them my deposit. The quote said my car would be picked up on Dec, 20, 2012. It also said they had a 10 day “window” of time to pick up the car. The 10 days came and went and I was in touch with the dispatcher at New Way. She said they were not able to secure a truck to transport the car for that price and it would cost me $200 more!!! At this point, I was already booked on a flight to California and new I would need my car ASAP so reluctantly I agreed. The new pick up date was going to be January 3rd. I was already in California at this point and my car was at a friends house in NJ. My car still was not picked up until January 4th! Way passed the 10 day “window” despite the increased price. Then the company dropped off the face of the earth. I left multiple messages for New Way and AY Trucking (the actual trucking company that accepted my bid to transport my car). I left messages every day with no response. Finally, I said I would report my car as being stolen if someone did not call me back. Turns out the truck that AY Trucking was using had a broken transmission and they had my car while it was being fixed. I was never told any of this while it was happening. I was paying for a rental car this entire time while I was in CA waiting for my car and it was costing me more and more money. I was not going to get any kind of refund because the contract states they are not responsible for mechanical failures. My car finally got on the truck and was supposedly on its way, again, I didn’t get any return calls to let me know where my car was. My car finally arrived on January 20th!! A full month after the original pick up date that was on the contract!! If you want to be left in the dark and experience delay after delay and then get screwed on the price, then go with New Way Moving and AY Trucking!! The final cost was $1050 plus my $150 deposit for a total of $1200!! Not the $950 from the original agreement and a month of aggravation!

i HAVE HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH THIS COMPANY. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! New Way Moving is the utmost unprofessional, rude, inattentive, worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. I called to set up the pick up for my car on a wednesday and spoke with Robert. he REASSURED me that my car would be picked up no later than friday as I emphasized to him that I will need my car as soon as possible because I did not want to spend money renting a car. I look at the contract online before I sign it electronically and it says that the transport date is for the 14th. Thats completely unacceptable because I need my car by the end of the following week. I call Robert back before signing it to ask him about the date and he tells me thats just standard for the contract, not to worry because my car will be picked up by friday at the latest. So Friday comes along and my car does not get picked up.I don't understand how a car shipping company would tell someone a specific date with reassurance and lie about it blatantly. So monday comes around and tuesday and my car is still not picked up. I was very frustrated by this because I know that when my car gets picked up it will take 5-6 business days to arrive. I call Robert and all the sudden he can't be reached the entire week. I left messages and he never returned my calls. EVER. I get through to dispatch and the woman on the phone continually tells me that she's working on getting a driver assigned to my vehicle and never gets it done. I ask her if I can get through to Robert and she says he's on the phone and that she can help me. I ask her to relay the message that I would like to speak with him and still, no call back. At this point she knows who I am when I call and is very rude, inconsiderate to my situation of not having a car 2 WEEKS AFTER I PUT DOWN MY DEPOSIT AND MADE MY ORDER. Today, September 19th marks two weeks that my car has not moved from the spot it has been parked for two weeks. 12 days after the date I was told it would be transported. So to put everything together, one worker lied to me about the pickup date and then refuses to pick up my calls as my sales rep and refuses to return my call so that we can discuss the situation, the woman that works dispatch (and apparently customer service as well) is inconsiderate, talks over me whenever I want to explain why I'm calling, and tells me there is no reason for me to speak with my sales rep about the conversation that he and I had personally on the phone. I highly regret going through New Way Moving company and anybody that wants professional moving services without a headache and on time, especially for a vehicle. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. These guys shot me a low ball quote on my transport. They promised a pickup with in 5 days. I called to check progress after 5 days to learn they had done nothing, but was promised they would get right on finding a carrier. I called back after another 3 days only to find they still had done nothing. I talked to another broker and was told he could see the listing and the quote was very low. I checked other quotes for myself and learned that the quote was very low. After antoher 2 days I called back and talked to tlhe manager of dispatch. She said she would personally get my order and expedite handling. I called back after 3 days and she told me she was going to get right on my order that day. After over two weeks I called and also emailed a cancellation notice to the manager of dispatch. I then arranged for pickup through another broker at a higher cost and the car was picked up with in 48 hours. These people are crooks!!!!!!! I should have read their feedback before asking them to get my car picked up. They have a large number of very unhappy customers. (more)

I called the agent back three minutes after we had spoken to cancel. I cancelled via written email (as he requested) FOUR TIMES. I NEVER gave permission for them to charge my credit card? Do not use this company. They promised to pick up my car and actually did it 5 days later for $75 more dollars than was initially quoted. They claimed that the contract I signed allowed them to pick it up in that window, but the presentation they gave at the time of paying for the service, before being able to view that contract, did not specify that. Additionally, when the contract expired, I requested a refund and they told me they had an additional 4 days AFTER THE CONTRACT EXPIRED, to find a shipper, and if I booked with someone else between now and then they would charge me an additional $250. These people are liars and thieves and if you do business with them you will be robbed. Your car will not be delivered for the amount cited and it will not be delivered within the time frame cited. Bad point:
1. very bad customer service. Until you sign and pay advance they will call you 10 times with big promises BUT after that its are turn to call 10 times. NO reply on emails either, specially that person SCOTT.
2. The price they quote may not be final and it will depend on driver of that day. I paid $75 more becoz no other choice.
3. The timeline which they promise, you just double atleast in reality.
4. Forget about any damage claim.

They should not promise to move our car for 599 if they cant move it. AND when they know they cant move it they should remove us from the board and get our deposit back. But instead never responded to call or email. whenever they dont like my call forwarded to ext 105. which is just wait and voicemail full.
Never moved the car Took our deposit and got us stuck in the middle of Wyoming and made us cry. We had to file fraud case from the back to get our money back. (more)

After 13 days of waiting for a pick-up I was forced to use Plycon which I should have done from teh beginning. They got the job done immediately. New Way tried to get more and more money out of me with false promises of getting the job done. They kept my deposit and refuse to refund it. They are a terrible company that have proven to be terrible at what they do. New Way Moving Services promises a "stress free" moving experience, but were a major headache for me. I used their car shipping service. Paid for express shipping, which means they would pick up my car within 1-5 days of the projected pick-up date.
It seemed so simple and they were constantly available at first. I flew out to my new place and rented a car, confident that my car would be there within the next week or so. However, as soon as they took my deposit, they were suspiciously unavailable for days at a time. Finally, after the period came and went and they still hadn't picked up my car from the old place, I called to let them know that I'd changed my mind. I was going to forfeit my deposit, fly back, and drive the car across the country myself (MA to CA). Seriously, it would have saved me a lot of time AND money (it's that costly).
Dispatch called back that same day and miraculously there was a truck available to pick up my car the next day. They were only a couple of states away and would pick it up first thing in the morning....This went on 2 more days. Lie after lie after lie: "Oh! A truck tire blew out," "The driver was in the state, but must have forgotten about you, but don't worry he'll be back tomorrow!"
Finally, the car was picked up on the 8th day. Fast forward to a week later. My car still hasn't arrived. I called New Way dispatch to get an update AND to have the express fee refunded. They didn't return my calls. Finally, I called sales and they transferred me to someone who could flat out refuse my refund - without discussion. The pick-up date he noted on his paperwork were FABRICATED to fall within the express period (Perhaps this is for legal purposes). He was super rude about it too, talking over me when I tried to give him the correct date. He kept saying "Maam, in any case, there won't be any kind of refund. You WILL give the driver the remaining money when he delivers your car!" So belligerent that I had to hang up before I started cursing at him. Like THAT would have helped... :P
Dispatch called me back the same day and told me the same thing. She said "Your car was picked up right!? Then we did you the service we were supposed to." Then, in a sing-songy ghetto voice, reminiscent of a child on the playground, she said "You're NOT gonna get a refuuuuund!!!" I admit it... at that point, I cursed. Stupid people bring out the stupid in me.
These people are shady. I will never use this or any other car shipping service again. All the positive reviews fooled me the first time, but I have a feeling that those are fabricated too. (more)

I set up a request for quote and was given a fair price. In several emails "marc" told me that the pick up was no problem - the location was do-able
that in talking to the "GM" the time frame was good - just esign the contract so the deposit could be made and the pick up scheduled..... we sat around and wasted our vacation waiting for contact from the dispatch amyone to call. Nothing.
I get home and email "Marc" only to be told "Contact dispatch" the blow off began. Dispatch said that there was no promise so I had to send all the emails. Still no promise.This morning their dispatch tells me that the pick up location isn't possible and that I would have to drive it almost 250 miles closer to the finla location in order to make the pick up possible. i'm outraged at this point I tell her that I want to speak to a supervisor - I get transfered to "Ron" who tells me not sure how this happen - that he'll look into it- but Portland is the only way they can accomidate me. HOW IS THIS COMPANY IN BUSINESS? bait and switch much?
And now I'm not getting my deposit back because i cancelled the contract -not them because they came up with a solution.

Dealing with this company on my move from PA to CA was BY FAR the worst part of my trip. I locked my price in and paid the $150 deposit in January for a June move but when June came around they said gas had gone up and it would cost more than they originally agreed to in the contract.They first LIED by saying they had a truck but it broke down and the parts had to be flown in from overseas and then after a few days they came back and said they DIDNT have a truck and i would have to fork out another 4 or 5 hundred dollars if i wanted it moved.
Customer service was HORRIBLE, Cynthia did not return my phone calls or emails and still has not sent me a cancellation form so i could get my deposit back. During this whole time i had to leave my vehicle in PA while my family and I made the cross country trip as New Way kept saying they would ship the car. After all this, i went with a different company who shipped my car the day after i called and it arrived earlier than anticipated. As far as my deposit,i disputed it through my bank who refunded me my money and was investigating New Way (who never called or emailed back after they screwed me). Again, DO NOT USE NEW WAY MOVING SERVICES, if you do all i can say is "I told you so" in advance. Also, you wonder why they are BBB accredited and have a BBB grade of C- (more)

I wouldn't be surprised if all the raving reviews on this website are from the owners of New Way Moving, or written by someone with a vested interest. My initial review was "removed" by New Way, as they tried to say I was not a customer. Hmmm, then why did they charge us $150 and never show up to ship our car?
This company practices dishonest and terrible business. My husband is a professional athlete and was traded to a team out west, last minute. We had to quickly move across country and we needed to ship our car. Robert from New Way Moving guaranteed me multiple times in emails and on the phone that they would come pick the car up to be shipped before a specific date. Which was the ONLY reason I went with New Way in the first place. I was skeptical of their horrible grammar and improper emails, but he assured me many times that they would be able to pick my car up on the date I needed. I heard NOTHING for the next week from New Way or Robert and after attempting to contact them unsuccessfully, through emails and phone calls. At this point I was getting nervous as my flight to leave town was approaching and it was the day before the last scheduled pick up date New Way had promised. After numerous phone calls, I was able to get a hold of someone else who told me the driver would be calling me that afternoon to set up the pick up for the following morning. Again, I heard NOTHING. The next morning I was on the phone from 8am until 11am before getting a hold of someone, who was beyond RUDE and he said they would not be picking up my car that day! My flight left that evening! I ended up having to have my sister-in-law drive our car out THREE WEEKS later and we had to rent a car for three weeks in the meantime. New Way is so shady and dishonest that they have been charging us $150.00 several times (I had given them my credit card number for a deposit when I had originally booked). Another thing is that they demanded to be paid in CASH only, which makes me think they are not reporting all earnings properly and probably not paying all taxes. This is a very poorly run company- everything from their customer service to their unethical ways of stealing your money. When you can actually get in touch with someone, they are not the least bit helpful and do not care about their customers at all. After our situation, I read some reviews on various websites about them and cannot believe some of the other horror stories. If I had not been in such a rush, I would have researched better and found this out for myself, but hopefully I can save others from having to deal with the stress and losing hard earned money to these people. As of today, I have still not received my $150 deposit back, and have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and local Florida authorities, as well as several other consumer protection agencies and I encourage others who have been ripped off to do the same! Everything seemed ok from the start. After receiving my deposit they would not return any phone calls or emails. Car was said to have been picked up the next day but that never happened. I was leaving to go on vacation and wanted to make sure they didn't try and deliver the vehicle while i was out of town. After three attempts to contact them i had to make sure my car wasn't going to be stranded like my phone call were! Also if they do not pick your car up they still keep your deposit! (more)

New Way Moving Services is BAD!I advice to everyone whoever read this PLEASE do not try to go to this company. This company collected my deposit 145 dollars and promised me that my car will be ship within 7 days. After 8 days, they told me I need to wait for another 4 days. Yet, they still change their tone from guarantee my car will be shipped to we are not sure and we can't guarantee you. The worst part is, if they said I am welcome to go for another shipping company, but I will not be able to get refund for all my deposit. Basically, I think this company is cheating. They quoted a pick up time of 2 to 7 days,after 4 weeks of unreturned phone call and emails,and excuses the new owner got a reputable company to do the move.They picked up the car in 3 days and in 7 days it was with its new owner.I requested my $150 deposit back ,no returned calls or emails until I reported them to the Florida state district attorney for fraud against the elderly.They then sent me a whitewash email pretending to be concerned and ethical but it was just a smokescreen to mislead the District attorney.If you like stress and anguish and getting ripped off use these people for your move (more)
