Subject : All Doubt Removed

I was nervous transporting my car from S. FL to TX. Neil answered all of my questions and was very empathetic. I was very difficult with them after speaking with an unfamiliar voice but soon after, I was able to get in contact with Neil and he reassured me that everything would be fine. And it was. I was not present when my car was picked up and dropped off but there were no complaints from the family. My car made it to TX about two hours before me getting there. Just in time. I hated the thought of leaving my car and my belongings in the hands of a stranger but they did a really great job and was able to answer questions. This is a direct company that used TopLine for my transport service and I had no issues. Plus you do not have to worry about multiple drivers touching your car. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that needs it. Especially for my fellow Control freaks.  (more)

Subject : POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DISHONEST!!!

This company was prompt at returning my calls at any time, courteous and professional. Once the contract was signed and they had my deposit, that all changed. We agreed on a total price of $800 dollars which included the $100 dollar deposit that they placed on my credit card. My car was not picked up as scheduled. I allready left for the East coast with arrangements maed for the pick up of my car. No one called me to say that the car was not picked up or that there was a delay in the pick up. When I realized that there was a problem two days later, I called John Salas who was the representative who arranged my contract and the pick up. Over a 24 hour period I called four times and could not reach him. I left polite messages but never received a return call. I then called customer service and spoke with George C who gave me a story that the truck had mechanical issues. I was reluctant to trust this company with my car and should have followed my instincts. Arrangements were made for another pick up. When the car was being delivered I was told that I owed the driver $800 dollars in cash when in fact the balance should have been $700 dollars. I called George C and he told me that his company gave a credit back to my card for the $100 dollars. To confirm this, with him on the line I called my credit card company who confirmed that there was no credit posted nor any credit pending. George insisted that I pay the $800 dollars and when he confirms that the credit was not issued, he will get me the credit. He said that "I would not jeopordize my companys reputation over $100 dollars". But that is exactly what he did. To date I never recevied the money owed back to me. I mailed the company evidence proving that they infact did get $900 dollars from me when it should have been $800 dollars. THEY COULD HAVE EASILY MADE THIS WRONG IN TO A RIGHT AND HAD A SATISFIED CUSTOMER BUT they chose to confirm how they lack integrity and regard for their customers and it is because of this that I say STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I have read complaints that are similiar and FYI - my complaints keeps getting deleted from this site!  (more)

Subject : Worst Experience Ever- Do not use!

This company is unreliable, unprofessional and took advantage of us! The driver they put us in contact with was a thug that tried to rip us off and threatened not to return our vehicle. A couple days after the driver picked up our vehicle we get a call saying he wanted an extra $100 dollars??? When we tried to dispute it with your customer service, they basically told us we had to take it up with the driver. The driver then tries to threaten us that if we don't pay him extra that he would keep our vehicle. We told the driver we would gladly pay him extra if he could show us proof of the reason there were extra fees. He would not accept this and tried to keep our vehicle. The customer service agents did nothing to help us. They were so nice when trying to get our business, but once they brokered the deal and put us in contact with a thug for a driver that threatened their customers they would not helps us. This is an unacceptable way of doing business and we want to warn others of this awful practice. The driver's name was Mike and he works for INJ Incorporated CA. Do not be fooled by this company and use them!! We would not recommend them even to our enemies.  (more)

Subject : Worst ever used - Vehicle late, Key lost, Items stolen

Son's vehicle transported from Texas to Florida to attend college, quoted as "garanteed 5-days". Car was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday/Thursday, transport didn't deliver until -late the following Sunday. Car Transport Express promised they were not a broker and would own pick-up and delivery end-to-end. That was a lie and in fact, my vehicle was picked up and delviered by Gold Transport of Miami / Opa Locka. Neither the driver, the dispatcher -- any of the contacts could speak ledgible english. Secondly, the telphone numbers provided would go "unaswered" or "voice mailbox not setup for this number". No way to reach them. They telephoned me on Wednesday and promised a Thursday delivery -- never showed up, Then telephoned on Thursday to say it would be Sunday. Car Transport Express Customer Service (Angel) told me "there was nothing he could do and in fact, he couldn't work on it. He had other customers". And here's the best part...the car arrives on Sunday and the DRIVER HAD LOST THE KEY!!!...It's an $80 key and he lost it! On top of that, the windshield mount for my Garmin device and cig-lighter power cord was stolen along with about $50 in other items we had stored in the car for transport to Florida (toiletries, towels, pillows, etc). Never use them again and would discourage anyone from the same.  (more)

Subject : Dishonest

They got me Good. I was moving from Michigan to Arizona. I contacted (CTE) for service, James responded saying that they are not brokers and they have their own truck and my F-150 and my wife's suv would be picked up on 6/25/11-6/27/11. So they took my deposit (warning read their fine print) I was warned by other companies of what was going to happened, I should have not listened to James. They did not pick my car up, they kept giving me excuses and they were not answering my calls, until I blocked my number. What they do is tell you that your car would be insured for $80,000 then take your deposit and then they would tell you days later that their truck has broken down so they will have to find a driver to take the offer. If you look at their contract it says that if they have to broker out your vehicle to another carrier, that your car is not covered anymore. So that is a scam they made to not have to pay or be responsible for anything, because they are brokers in the first place. They are not carriers. You must read the find print. You cant get your deposit back untill 10 days after the scheduled drop off date. You will not get your deposit back, that is how they hustle. Now I have to fly to Arizona and pick up my furniture and then fly back and my wife and I will have to Drive both cars back. If you go to their website the phone number is not theirs, its a number to a organic health store. They give fake names of the owner. I cant believe that this is not illegal. Please people if you want your car transported just go to the top 10 auto transporters. Its worth paying more than less, these guys are scum. They are not even accredited with the BBB. I should have checked this out first>Dont trust them at all. When I called today to cancel my order because I am totally disgusted and frustrated with them, then all of a sudden James was trying to over-talk me saying that now they have a driver, but when I also spoke with George he said they were still trying to find a carrier!!! Duh... they obviously just make up stuff.  (more)

Subject : Scam company

***WARNING*** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Me & my husband contacted this company to get our 2 vehicles transported to Phoenix and we spoke to James who informed us that they were not brokers and that they have their own trucks. He assured us and emailed us a contract clearly stating pick-up would be June 25-27th. He immediately deducted the deposit of $220 from my account. Well those pickup dates came and went by with no pickup and of course nobody from this company called us. We always had to call them back to find out what was going on and of course several times no one would answer the phone. When we did get ahold of James or George, we were told that their truck broke down and they would probably have to look for another carrier. Umm... if they have their own trucks, shouldn't they have a back up truck for these unforeseen circumstances. We had a plane to catch to Phoenix on July 1st and that's why we needed our vehicles picked up before we left, but all we were getting was the run around. If you type in their name in Google a phone# of 1-877-419-9537 comes up, which is the phone number to "Premier Natural Health" an organic food company!! That's how professional they are. Also, when we tried to get the name of the owner of this company, guess what .... none of the customer service people knew his name. George claimed his name is Eric Arias, so when we called and asked James to speak to this "Eric Arias", James said he didn't know who that is! This company will tell you nothing up front about all the possible delays, i.e. trucks breaking down, no driver's taking the order, etc... until after they get your deposit money and then they will try to string you along while they come up with excuse after excuse. We ended up cancelling the order and will have to fly back to Michigan to drive our own vehicles to Phoenix. I'm sure they are happy that they got another deposit from another un-suspecting customer. I'm sure there are honest auto transport companies out there, but unfortunately it is virtually impossible to know which ones are honest, but CAR TRANSPORT EXPRESS IS DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THEM.  (more)
