I gave 1 star because it FINALLY did arrive at my destination. Any good reviews on this company they must hire people to write them. The quote from Get It Done was $2690. Charged my credit card $890 on 7/21 then $200 on 7/22. The driver who they brokered, by the way, calls when he is three days late and three hours away and says he will only take cash. And it is $1900. No negotiation. So total was $2990. $300 more than quoted price. There very little communication between Get it Done and myself or the especially the Driver and myself. I would text the company or the driver and they would only call me back, never text. I realized why. They donot want any evidence of what they tell you because it never happens. If you want a frustrating experience definitely just this company (more)

My daughter and son in law called this wonderful company for me when I was going through a personal crisis. Being a family owned company we found them polite and very efficient. Transportation went well. Car arrived in great shape and driver did a great job unloading and was very polite and professional. Only thing that I would improve is communication once the car was picked up. Until the day before I had limited info where it was or when to expect delivery. I would use them again for sure.

We originally scheduled our car to be shipped from FL to NC with another company. Despite scheduling with them early April and a firm date mid-May plus a steep price and all add-ons (within 24 hours of date and so), the other guys let us down with no pick-up on the scheduled day. The following morning we texted Get It Done and Joe called within 5 minutes at 07:45 AM. At 07:59AM they had a driver scheduled for a 10:30AM pickup that day. If that is not amazing, what is We will never use another transport company. They are just simply the best. (more)

I meant to write this review in Jume when my Mercedes was shipped from FL to RI. had never shipped my new car before so I was very nervous and asked LOTS of questions.
David worked endlessly to help me get my Mercedes shipped with in a very short time frame. He called me personally to update me on everything & was quick to get back to me and answered all of my questions and more. My car arrived exactly when they told me they would have it delivered. If I could give more stars I would!! The prices are reasonable and worth every penny.
I trust them so much & was so impressed with the professionalism and follow through that I just requested that they ship my car back to FL. If you are overwhelmed with the many emails and calls you get from other companies just skip them and call Get it Done because they will 100% get it done! Thanks again to David. (more)

If I could give this place ZERO STARS I WOULD!!! I booked these scammers for a transport from MA to CA. Booked like a week in advance and they never updated me ever. I would reach out over and over and over and they just kept blowing me off. My car was supposed to get picked up on Friday and ALL DAY Thursday I was asking for an update, a confirmation, just what time they would even be coming to get my car. Never got an actual answer for anything. Then I demanded someone to call me because I was getting nowhere. They just kept blowing me off. I finally get a call and the "owner" tells me that no one is scheduled to pick up my car which I was being told all damn day it would be picked up tomorrow. The "owner" then proceeds to tell me to calm the fuck down and to go eat shit.
THIS "BUSINESS" IS NOT EVEN ACCREDITED. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE SCAMMERS. (more)

On 3/17/2021 I paid a deposit to have my Toyota MR2 shipped from FL to MI on 4/6/2021 as I was to fly out 4/7/2021. I was told a driver would contact me the day before to confirm time and location of pickup. I called 4/1/2021 to ensure we were on schedule and was assured all was well. After 1:00pm on 4/5/2021 I began texting, emailing and calling since I had not yet heard from a driver. I was told twice 1:35 and 3:10 they would contact dispatch and get back with me. The third and fourth calls were not answered at 4:48 and 6:45. At 6:55 pm I called the emergency phone number provided on the recording from my previously unanswered attempts. I was then told by a different representative that the driver was delayed and they were looking for a new driver. I was told I would receive a call first thing in the morning. That was the last correspondence from "get it done transportation inc." I enjoyed! Do yourself a favor and move on to a reputable carrier, so that you may have an opportunity to actually GET IT DONE!!! (more)

We arranged for a car transport from Florida to Minnesota. The car was never picked up. This arrangement was during the time of the Covid 19 pandemic and we understood that they were having problems getting drivers. After taking our deposit of $190 we cancelled the transport because we left Florida. Joe and David Pein have promised since March 9 they would refund our money but it is now April 15 and no money yet. The "check is in the mail" routine is what we are getting. SCAM (more)

All,
I am reaching out to ANYONE and EVERYONE who is even thinking of using Get it Done Transportation, 7700 Belmonte Blvd, Margate, FL 33063 due to my abhorrent experience. Hopefully, you will heed my warning and save yourselves MAJOR aggravation.
I contacted David Pein, Get it Done Transportation, regarding transport of my car from Alabama to Connecticut. He was pleasant and professional on the phone, so I made the arrangement for my car. After Get it Done Transportation received my $150 deposit, there was NO communication with the man. I repeatedly attempted to contact him because there was medications that I needed for the next week. I was ASSURED that the car would be delivered NLT 03AUG.
I have yet to receive any/all information from David Pein (Owner) regarding my car that was picked up 01AUG. And that was the last time I heard anything from Get it Done Transportation – after REPEATED emails, voice mails and text mails!!!
Appalling communication, horrendous Customer Service, totally apathetic regarding customer concerns!!!!

Don’t put yourself through the trouble with this place. Dave Pein the owner is a scam artist. Takes a deposit puts your car on general dispatch and calls it a day. Ya he answers the phone and has a bullshit excuse every time. Find a company that you pay in full when they arrive with your vehicle. Should have done more research before using him. We contact Get it Done Transportation to arrange shipping vehicle from Utah to Florida. After paying the broker fee of $125, the vehicle was never pickied up. When they did answer call we were told they will contact the driver. After 2 weeks from when we requested picked we called Get It Done Transportion and canceled. They told us we’ll get a refund. They will not return emails, texts or phone call. Once we did talk to him, he stated he’ll check on it and call right back in 15 minutes which never happened. (more)

My husband and I decided to pick Get it done Transportation based on the reviews we saw on yelp – which was definitely not a good decision.
We asked if Get it done Transportation would be able to pick up our cars at the latest on Thursday night (since we were moving out of the state on Saturday morning and we couldn’t be home to release the cars on Friday). The answer from Get it done Transportation was : yes sure no problem the driver will be there on Wednesday or Thursday. Then on Wednesday, nobody called to inform us of the day/time cars were supposed to be picked up. We had to call several times Get it done Transportation because he wasn’t calling back or letting us know what was the schedule.
The driver finally came on Saturday night at 6pm (which was 3 days after the agreed date and we weren’t there). At least, the driver was very responsive and very nice to us and was able to pick up the cars without us being with him.
The exact same thing happened when it was time to get our cars in the other city. Get it done Transportation never called in advance to letting us know what was the schedule for the delivery. Get it Done Transportation also never mentioned the fact that we had to pay in cash or money order the remaining amount for the shipping. When the third-party hired by Get it done Transportation called us 12 hours before the car delivery, we were very surprised that we couldn’t pay by credit card. Considering the amount of money needed, it would have been nice to know in advance that we needed cash/money order. The person we talked to (from the 3rd party) wasn’t friendly at all and almost rude – which didn’t help the situation. After this frustrating call, we tried to call Get it Done Transportation and AGAIN, we weren’t able to reach him in a timely manner. When we were able to get a hold of Get it done Transportation , the answer was always the same :” I will call back soon because I can’t see your order on my phone or I’m not in front of my computer”. He never called back and we always had to call over and over again. I’d also like to specify that on Get it done Transportation website, it’s clearly written that he will be available 24/7 for any questions/concerns. Let’s say it wasn’t the case for my case.
We had to do the “middle man” between the 3rd party who was picking up/delivering our cars and Get it done Transportation instead of just being the customer from the beginning to the end of the process. The only good thing I can say is about this whole process is that the cars were in the same condition as we left them.. which should be the norm for a transportation company.
It’s not the first time I moved a car with a transportation company. The last time was from Canada to the US and the experience was flawless and very smooth. I can’t say the same for this one. It has been so painful and frustrating. I don’t recommend using Get it done Transportation unless you want to waste time by having to call 5 times/day to get an idea of the schedule and the next steps.

Needing a car delivered from Frankfort Kentucky to Topeka Kansas, David Pein promised a Thursday pickup. He then promised a Friday pickup. He then the next monday stated he had two drivers in the area and would call back in 10 minutes. He never returned a call. He would never answer his phone rather let it go to voice mail. That was interesting because prior to committing to his company he answered the phone every time. After getting caught in so many lies he no longer answered the phone. We ended up paying storage for an extra week before another carrier could get the car transported. Stay away from Get It Done. Find a quote that is in the middle or high middle to assure quick service as the transporters decide what vehicle they will deliver not the BROKER! (more)

I actually chose this company because I spoke to three different transporters and Kat made me feel very comfortable that all would be taken care of quickly and professionally and that someone would be available 24 hours a day to help us. The following events are true and I have all emails and texts to confirm it.
We were moving from West Virginia to Nevada and chose this company to transport our two vehicles. I called two weeks ahead of time to schedule our pickup and our cars had to be in Nevada for my husbands first day of work July 8th. Our cars were supposed to be picked up between June 26th and 27th while we were out of town in Nevada looking for a place to live. Kat had me arrange for our neighbor to meet the driver to give over possession of our cars. We had to rent a car to drive to the airport because they would be picking up our cars while we were in Nevada.The week before we left for our trip she was supposed to call me with an exact time and date and when I called her she told me not to worry this was perfectly normal and not to worry our cars would be picked up. On the days our cars were to be picked up our neighbor called to say he had not been contacted. I had to call Kat repeatedly before she ever returned my calls. When she finally called back and said not to worry the driver was coming, he never did! So that was the first two days of unwarranted car rentals costing us 150.00 in car rentals!
On the plane ride back on July 1st we called the owner Dave. Dave told us he was very sorry that Kat had not communicated and that he would reimburse us for the car rentals and asked us to let him take care of it because we said we would find another transporter. He said no that he would get us a driver and that they would pick up they cars on July 4th or the latest the 5th. OH and they couldn't keep their original quote because they couldn't get a driver to come to West Virginia so we had to increase the quote 400.00 from the original quote of 2480.00 to 2800.
Onto car rental number 2 because they would be coming on July 4th and we would be two hours away visiting parents we had to rent a car on July3rd. Guess what? They didn't show up on the 4th! My husband had to again track Dave down who told us that the cars would definitely be picked up on the 5th. Guess what? They didn't pick up the cars on the 5th and on the 5th after we had to track down the driver he said he would be there on Sunday the 7th because his compressor went out but he would be there by the 7th! So obviously my husband was not going to have a car when he got to Nevada (I was following him out on the 12th). So he had to rent a car to get back to the airport and I had to keep a rental so now we have 2 rental cars and no driver and another 400.00 in car rentals.
Guess what happened on the 7th? He didn't show up I had to call him and he said he would be there the next morning at 6:30...guess what....he wasn't! I had to track him down and he finally arrived at 9:00 on Monday morning 11 days later than he was supposed to. So my husband had to rent yet another car in Nevada waiting for the arrival of our cars.
When we finally got our cars my husband called Dave and we asked for 1,000 (a fraction of what we paid in rentals and pain and suffering) Dave told us he was a man of his word and a hard working family man and could not afford 1,000 and he offered to give us 300.00. He said he would mail it out. We didn't get the check and that was in July.
In August my husband left several messages for Dave and finally at the end of August he text my husband that he had mailed the check....it didn't come! In September we got a text from Dave's "wife" Susan that he had sent the check that it must be lost and that they would put a stop payment on it and resend the check.
Last week my husband called Kat who in a moment of forgetfulness actually answered the phone and he told her if we didn't get the check by the end of the week we were taking legal action (which we are) and that we would post the review of the horrible experience we had, at this point it is a matter of principal.
I will be lodging a complaint with the BBB next and we will be taking action for the thousands we are out in rentals and in time. We were kind enough to settle on the 300.00 (which it is now October and we have not received) because we felt sorry for him and he took advantage of the entire situation and has not tried to resolve it.
This is a true experience and I have all of the texts and emails to prove it. If the company tries to deny it in anyway they are just adding to the problems they are about to have. (more)

My car was shipped from Mn. to Ct. at a very fair rate. The initial service was fine until I actually contracted with them. The car was picked up about 30hours after the original pick up time and was delivered 2 days after promised delivery. The delivery date would have been later had I not badgered the trucker with 8-10 calls when the car was 2 days late.The car was sitting in a lot 60 miles from my home and the trucker would not give me an exact date to deliver.I never received a call from the broker or the trucker regarding delays. In fairness-the car was delivered as picked up with no issues. The entire process left me with a negative feeling about the companies involved and could have been avoided with a couple of phone calls to keep me in the loop (more)

Dave Pein and Get it Done was excellent! Long story short, on a family vacation in South Carolina I got in a wreck, I chose to have my car shipped home to have it fixed so I could keep an eye on it. After several quotes and researching the BB and a few review sites I Called Dave at Get It Done, I explained my situation and he said he would check with some drivers and call me back in an hour, he called back in 15mins and was on top of everything the rest of the way. Any email or phone call I had was retuned promptly, even on the weekend. Very satisfied with my experience with Get It Done, and if I ever need to ship again Dave would be my first call!! (more)
