Webster Relocation - Review

We have had experience with multiple movers around Austin the last few years, and our experience with Webster & Co. was excellent! Ruben, Matt, Andrew, and Ronnie were efficient, conscientious, and on time. They got us packed and moved across town in less than two days, and we were very happy with the results. Despite the heat, they were cheerful and friendly throughout, and were careful to put each piece of furniture where we wanted it. Highly recommend!  (more)

I contacted this company to move my vehicle from california to illinois. They quoted me $825 with a $125 deposit. They told me that it would be picked up within 3-4 days a week later and still they havent picked it up. Now they want to keep $50 for cancellation fee. Bunch of Crooks.  (more)

I needed 2 cars shipped from NY to CA. I booked with Webster because they offered me a reasonable price. But they never came through. I tried to schedule a pick up for my cars on May 30th or 31st. Amanda told me that couldn't be guaranteed and they would need up to 10 business days to book a carrier. Fine. I made my first available pick-up date May 28th then. I needed my cars as fast as possible, and made it known to Amanda that AT THE LATEST I would need them by the week of June 17th. She said she would mark it on the order and to allow for 7-10 days for delivery. If the cars would have been picked up on the 10th business day, they would have been delivered in the correct time frame. Well, time passed and I emailed and called several times to get an update. All I ever got was "we're working on it." (Actually, they also asked me to pay $150 more, so not only was it taking longer, I would have ended up paying more.) The 10 business days came and went so I had to find another option. I booked with someone else and sent an email on the 11th business day canceling my order and requesting a refund. Then on the 13th business day I get a phone call from Wayne saying he is trying to schedule a pick-up for my cars. (What??? He was so quick to respond to every other email I sent with some excuse but apparently the cancellation email must have gone to his spam folder...) So after several more correspondences he was still not willing to issue a refund for my deposit or see at all how his company was in the wrong. In fact, he was trying to place the blame on me because I had asked for the cars to be delivered the week of the 17th. NO I DIDN'T! I asked for the cars to be delivered ASAP, in accordance with the contract! So after several more correspondences, he had settled on issuing me a partial refund even though on the website it clearly states that if your car is not booked by the 10th business day, you will be issued a full refund. The matter is being handled with my bank, but PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. I know the price may seem right, but just spend a few extra bucks and go with a more reliable company that can offer you honesty, integrity and peace of mind. Nicest guy ever when it came to getting me set up and TAKING my money. Once he had my money it was like I was dealing with a different person from then on. I was supposed to recieve my shipment on Oct. 3 and I didnt get it until November 3. I called nearly everyday to find out when I would be receiving my car and Wayne gave me the run around each and every time. He even went as far as calling me names over the phone, and trying to belittle me. He was a real gem! Every time I called he put me on hold for at least 5 minutes and then came back on telling me that they had no further information on the shipment. He called me a liar probably a thousand times and threatened to keep my money. Oh and the money issue... he quoted me a certain price which I felt was reasonable and then once the shipment finally arrived the invoice was $200 more and I never saw that money back. It wasnt worth calling and talking to the SOB again. I would never never never do business with Wayne or his company ever again.  (more)

There were no pick up or delivery delays. The pickup time was communicated well in advance and honored. The transport person brought the car to the airport even though it was quite late in the night - this saved me any cab/rental costs. They are going above and beyond what was required for just the car transport and I sincerely appreciate it. They were polite and courteous and did not ask for any tips or privilege at any point. There was no damage to the car during the transport process.  (more)

I placed the order online Monday nighttime and my vehicle was picked up Tuesday at 1pm and delivered by Thursday at 2:00 pm. Webster's cost was $200 less than the next lowest quote. Wayne was always obtainable to answer any questions. I don't know any way the shipping could have gone smoother.  (more)

I would definitely use Webster Services once more. They actually had someone you could talk to on the phone.They were among the lowest of bidders which made me anxious because other companies said the low price bids would end up taking the longest time to deliver. I was willingly surprised because they showed up one day after the first available time and delivered it to from Mass to Florida in 4 days. I extremely suggest them.  (more)
