Review Description
I needed 2 cars shipped from NY to CA. I booked with Webster because they offered me a reasonable price. But they never came through. I tried to schedule a pick up for my cars on May 30th or 31st. Amanda told me that couldn't be guaranteed and they would need up to 10 business days to book a carrier. Fine. I made my first available pick-up date May 28th then. I needed my cars as fast as possible, and made it known to Amanda that AT THE LATEST I would need them by the week of June 17th. She said she would mark it on the order and to allow for 7-10 days for delivery. If the cars would have been picked up on the 10th business day, they would have been delivered in the correct time frame. Well, time passed and I emailed and called several times to get an update. All I ever got was "we're working on it." (Actually, they also asked me to pay $150 more, so not only was it taking longer, I would have ended up paying more.) The 10 business days came and went so I had to find another option. I booked with someone else and sent an email on the 11th business day canceling my order and requesting a refund. Then on the 13th business day I get a phone call from Wayne saying he is trying to schedule a pick-up for my cars. (What??? He was so quick to respond to every other email I sent with some excuse but apparently the cancellation email must have gone to his spam folder...) So after several more correspondences he was still not willing to issue a refund for my deposit or see at all how his company was in the wrong. In fact, he was trying to place the blame on me because I had asked for the cars to be delivered the week of the 17th. NO I DIDN'T! I asked for the cars to be delivered ASAP, in accordance with the contract! So after several more correspondences, he had settled on issuing me a partial refund even though on the website it clearly states that if your car is not booked by the 10th business day, you will be issued a full refund. The matter is being handled with my bank, but PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY. I know the price may seem right, but just spend a few extra bucks and go with a more reliable company that can offer you honesty, integrity and peace of mind.
