Shank Bros Auto Transport LLC - Review

Shank Bros is not just a broker they own their own trucks. Dealt directly with John Shank (owner). No payment required until delivery. Delivery was delayed due to an East Coast snow storm during transport and Lake affect snow (Buffalo NY area) on day of deliver. Cant really blame the transport company for storms. John kept me informed and answered inquiries promptly of the delivery status. All went very well. Would definitely use again.  (more)

We just used Shank Bros. for the first time to transport our car from NY to FL for the winter. We were very pleased with the service. We chose to drop off our car at their terminal, so we have no pick up experience at this time. However, we were delighted that it was waiting for delivery to us upon arrival at our destination. We had even accelerated our departure after making the original reservation, so they obviously accommodated our new schedule. John patiently answered all my questions when I first called. Driver Mark was very professional and polite. This experience was especially refreshing since we had two troublesome trips last year with two different companies. We will use Shank Bros. again in the spring, and recommend them to anyone considering vehicle transportation. Thank you to all at Shank Bros.  (more)

Before accepting delivery, signing for and paying for your vehicle from Shank Bros Auto Transport, I strongly urge you to wash/clean your vehicle thoroughly so you can properly inspect the exterior of your vehicle for damage. In my case, the vehicle was dirty and the Bill of Lading DID NOT document the damage that I found after the vehicle was cleaned. After contacting Shank Bros about the damage, I was told since I signed paperwork, they are not responsible. Extremely dishonest  (more)

Contracted @ first with BestPriceAutoShippers which turned out to be only a broker/ Aki, Did not get vehicle picked through Uship up when promised in the bid and did not get it delivered by the agreed upon time. [Birthday Present] Not very professional. The best thing Aki did, was to put me in touch with a very professional "SHANK Bros.TRUCKING" who got my vehicle to me without a hitch and in a timely manner.
