: I felt National Transport had the services I wanted.
I needed a vehicle moved from Florida to New York within a short period of time, which I had never done before. After calling a few transport service providers, I felt National Transport had the services I wanted. The cost was competative to other transport companies. However, when I spoke with the initial phone representative, she answered all my questions politely and with experience. She seemed very trustworthy. Every step of the process, the people I communicated with were friendly and competent. Thank you! (more)

My vehicle was picked up promptly on the first date I told them it was available.
I sent my request to several companies who all hounded me for weeks....in the end I went with the a completely different company that I found on the web, who was the least expensive. Contrary to the emails I received about companies not being able to confirm the price, I was not disappointed! The driver was professional and courteous. The price was as the original quote. The communication was clear. The company knew where my car was at all times.
National Transport has an A,rating with the BBB and I would definitely use them again. (more)

Great service!
They moved my car enclosed from FL to CA and were a day early! My car was in perfect condition as I have left it. Only took about 7 days to get to CA.
I would highly recommend. (more)

We do NOT recommend this business. Although we spoke with a nice lady, Claire, customer service and communication has been very poor. Today was our arranged final window for pick-up and no one showed up, no one called to notify us of any problems, and we will now be unable to get our auto when needed. It has proven to be very stressful for our family and we are still without resolution. We made many calls to them today and there was no answer. Do not trust this company to handle your transport. One good thing: They are a legitimate business. They won't pick up your car and disappear with it. One bad thing: Don't believe ANYTHING the women in the office tell you. They will say whatever you need to hear to get you to sign their on-line contract. After you sign that, all tunes change. Priority handling is only "an estimate." (1-4 days really means 1-2 weeks.) Paying extra for an inoperable vehicle to be transported door-to-door really means "as close to the door as we can get." We had to help the driver PUSH our car out of a large storage facility onto the road where the 18-wheeler was parked. When the car arrived at it's drop-off, there was only a woman available to help push, so the car was left "as close to the garage as possible." I had to pay someone else to finish transporting the car (after paying $1495 and waiting two weeks from start to finish). Would NOT use this company again! (more)

This is wth worst company I have ever used. Their website is propaganda. They are a broker and you have no control over your vehicle after you sign the contract. Dishonest company. Don't be fooled by the A+ with the BBB and their 5 star rating on their web page. (more)

: Dreadful customer service
My car was collected on time on Wednesday with delivery the following Monday. When I contacted the driver monday he was just leaving the pickup state. No phone call. No communication. Company refused to offer compensation telling me thats what I signe and they were "sorry". The did offer me a discount on the next shipment - LOL. In this day and age this type of customer service is unacceptable (more)

: "Enclosed" doesn't actually mean enclosed
Due to the fact that the car I was moving was 1 of only 145 in the US, and has a very special paint finish, I opted for enclosed transport, which was a $500 premium over open transport.
According to the website....
For starters enclosed auto shipping means your vehicle will be transported in an enclosed trailer that allows it to get from pickup to drop-off free from, the dust, the grime and the elements of the road.
Really ??
The car arrived absolutely filthy. Not just dusty, but smeared with grime. According to the truck driver, the car had been loaded when it was raining so had gotten wet.
Really ??
Thats strange because I had a cell phone video of the car being loaded which was taken by the salesman I bought the car off and it was not raining.
Then the driver told me that his vehicle was curtain sided, and the condition of my car was to be expected. If I really wanted the car to arrive clean, I needed to have a hard sided truck. Fabulous to find that out once the car has been shipped.
By the way, the drivers are not employed by National Transport.... apparently don't actually own any trucks, they just own a website and some phones.
As soon as I got the car keys it went straight into a detailer where it needed $200 to get it looking something like it did before it was shipped.
About 2 days later, I got an email from National Transport, which was clearly a mass spam email thanking me for my business, blah, blah, blah. I replied to that email with my complaint. I got no response after 1 week so I sent yet another email, remarking that I was going to the BBB. This time I got a response. Here is part of it....
While we appreciate the feedback and do sincerely apologize for that you felt mislead by your vehicle being delivered to you in a soft side enclosed truck. Please understand, as a broker, we do offer various types of trucks both open and enclosed in an effort to get the vehicles picked up and delivered timely. In this industry vehicles are often delivered on various trucks both open and enclosed and do occasionally arrive dirty as they are traveling across country
In other words, you paid for enclosed, but really it's a crap shoot, and unfortunately you lost.
However, all is not lost because.....
Although we are unable to give you a refund on your shipment as we have already paid the carrier, we are willing to offer you a $200.00 credit towards a future shipment, if you would allow us another opportunity to work with you.
Seriously ? You expect me to use you again, even assuming I had another vehicle I needed shipped ?
What I learned, and what I would do differently in future :
1) Use a company that actually owns trucks, not just phones
2) Ask the following questions and get everything confirmed in writing before you pay a penny
What type of truck is it ? curtain sided or hard sided ?
Will the car be moved from one truck to an other mid route? (more)

I wasn't sure about any company. I found them on line. These guys were quick, honest, and very effecient. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Great driver and excellent delivery work.
Our delivery was to the Canadian border. We had to have great timing on that end of the trip. The driver called and gave plenty of notice. He arrrived on time and everything went smoothly as they drove across the border before closing time.
I would and will use them again. I felt that I could trust them and that the car was safe. They had very expensive cars loaded on before ours, so I knew that they did good work. (Our car wasn't fancy!) (more)

I had requested for a premium pick up and delivery which was supposed to be 1 to 3 days and they only picked after 18 days. They never called me or the person at the pick up site to inform us of the pick up dates. When I called all they would say was that they were working on it. I would never do business with them again or recommend them to anyone. (more)

: Deceived and Misrepresented
This has proven to be a grave mistake, Totally Misrepresented themselves, Lynn came in towards the end of the transaction and started accusing us THE CUSTOMER as the ones being at fault. An order was placed for 2 vehicles to be picked up in Atlanta and delivered in CA. The order was placed on Wednesday, June 29th and was quoted to be delivered in 4-6 business days. It was communicated and confirmed by the staff at National Transport and to Christian Morton the driver of the Transport Truck that the vehicles would need to be in CA by Wednesday July 7, 2010. Everything was on track for a Wednesday 7/7/10 delivery until Monday 7/5/2010, when Lynn stepped into the equation and everything fell apart. Lynn told us on Monday early afternoon that per Christian Morton of M & M Transport that the delivery was on schedule. I confirmed with her that delivery would occur on Wednesday 7/7/2010, and that Christian will update me later in the day. As Monday 7/5/10 progressed the driver was stating he may have delays but will try his best to be there LATE on Wednesday evening, and he would confirm with me as he made his first delivery. My last communication with Christian was at 7 pm that evening. I called him and text messaged him requesting an update and no answer. The next morning I emailed and called National Transport requesting an update since I had not heard back from the driver. I spoke to Lynn, left a message with Teresa, and finally spoke to Tiffany. When speaking with Tiffany she revealed that the driver picked up an additional vehicle and now had another drop off – which was going to cause a delay in our delivery by one day!! When I stressed that this was unacceptable – and that this should have been communicated to us – they became verbally abusive and blaming us and stated if was our fault and we were demanding and that Lynn only heard this as of Monday that there was a request for a Wed. deliver. She continued to send the Owner of the vehicles nasty lette (more)

My representative was very cordial and very effective that really shows the importance they giving for each and every customers of the organization. I had a very good experience with this company. I had used this company again to transport my fathers car from Kentucky to Illinois.From order taking to pickup to delivery, my experience was very pleasant.My car was picked up on time and delivered on time and the experience was hassle free. Driver was courteous and helpful waited for me to get home to accept delivery. Staffs were honest, professional, and very polite.All my quires were answered and requests were honored accordingly. I strongly recommend his services and National Transport for transporting any vehicle and/or exotic cars. (more)

I am extremely happy with the National Transport service.The transportation was excellent and the quote was great. I got my car shipped for 800$ only and the deposit was taken only after my vehicle got dispatched. My vehicles arrived in a timely manner, there were No damages or issues. National Transport responded to calls quickly and wanted to know if everything went well. I was extremely happy with the entire car moving operational from start to finish. If I need to transport a vehicle in the future, I will definitely call National Transport. Highly recommended. (more)

I felt that they were very honest when setting everything up. The prices were reasonable, and they were very helpful. The driver for my car was very polite, and always kept me in the loop as to the location of my car, and how long it would take to get to me. Overall, I had a great experience, and would definitely use them again in the future if needed. (more)

: Delivery of a new vehicle
This transport was quick to give a quote. Quick to accept order and give their intentions. Good interactions with National. Driver was very personable and responsible. Driver called when getting close to advise us of when to anticipate his arrival. There were two drivers so their trip was faster than we expected. We tipped the driver who we communicated with, and he was very thankful. (more)
