I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. They gave me a quote of 720 and said they could pick up in 2 days. After 2 1/2 weeks and many calls to them they found someone to pick up my truck for 1200. When I told them I wanted to cancel and go get the truck myself they wanted to keep my deposit and charge me another 100. They are a broker not a shipper save time and headaches use someone else.  (more)

Worst experience with a car shipping I’ve ever dealt with. When I contacted the original company I contacted the representative made snide responses. Save your money go with another company. They’ll quote you a certain date, then play games with pick up/delivery.  (more)

beware of these scam broker, I am dealing with them last couple of days, and I got exactly same number for the driver which is not an active number that they give to everyone. Serge and Alec are the guys in this office. they charge you $200 and never continue the business. Stay away from them, they are SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (more)

I am very upset with the service I recieved from Elite Auto Shipping in Staten Island NY. Do not use. I spoke with Serge who took all my information and promised delievery by 11/30. He quoted me $600. He gave me the price of $600 and gave me the drivers phone number. I could not get in touch with the driver. Finally through text the driver told me her could not do the job because the price that was quoted was for a sedan and he did not know that it was a pick up truck so he backed out of the job. Please note Serge had the exact information on the truck, I gave him ever detail. He never told me that the driver backed out and that I would not have my truck when he promised. I called Serge and he promised he would call back and never did. He then told me I would have to pay an additional $200 for rush delivery. He then got a 2nd driver to pick up the truck. He then have a Zac call me stating that he was from the 2nd shipping company and promised pickup ASAP. However I found out that he had a man named Ruben with with a strong accent call me and pretend that he was from the shopping company. I then put two and two together when I spoke to the real Zac. The 2nd company was on there way to pick up the truck and the truck would not fit on there load because again SERGE did not give all the details on the truck. Again he did NOT contact me letting me know the 2nd company backed out of the job as well. He did not contact me nor let me know. Finally he assigned a new company finally picked up the truck and delievered it to me. However he lied to the company stating that I would give them cash on delievery. This is the 4th check I had to write out because Serege keeped changing the companies. I undertand that things happen however with a little communication on behalf of the company would have made this process alot easier. Serge was horrible through this whole process. Not to mention this truck was being used for relief from Hurricane Sandy. I will never use this company again. Customer service that was provided was horrible. Do not trust this company.  (more)

I took Elite services for car transfer from Colorado to Texas Houston. They promised $575. However on delivery the Driver asked or $600 saying that was what he was communicated. When I called Elite they said they will refund me $25. Even after repeated reminder they have not refunded and now they totally deny the same. They operate like a phoney company and my experience was poor.  (more)

I called up Elite Auto Shipping to have my vehicle transported from Ca to Trenton, Nj. They gave me a deal picked up my car on time and dropped it off at my door. We had no issues at all with pick up or vehicle size. Thanks again Elite!  (more)

BEWARE this company! This is SCAM! They only want to pocket your deposit and have no intention of actually shipping your car. My review is long, but I don’t want anyone else to suffer what I have gone through. I encourage anyone else that had been scammed by this company to contact the US Department of Transportation, specifically the division: Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to report the criminal behavior of those owning and working for this company. Also, beware of the positive reviews on this website. I learned too late that reviews with a green dot next to them means that the costumer was financially compensated by Elite Auto. The other positive reviews are probably posted by Elite Auto themselves because I find it hard to believe that this company has actually delivered cars and kept their business promise. Do business with this company at your own risk! Approximately 7 weeks ago on April 12th I contacted Elite Auto Shipping to book a shipment of my vehicle from Philadelphia, Pa to California. I explained that I was graduating from medical school in Philadelphia and moving to California to start work. I explained that it was very important that my car be shipped on May 27, 2011 because I would be getting on a flight on May 28th and I had no one in the vicinity to leave my car with if it was not picked up. They assured me with such advanced notice they could guarantee that my car would be shipped on May 27, 2011. With that guarantee I placed an order for $875 and made a deposit of $200 through Google Checkout. Four days before the scheduled pick up date on Monday May 23rd, 2011. I called Elite Auto to confirm my order and to get a pick up window. I was told that the driver assigned to my delivery would call me later that day and if not then no later than Wednesday. When I never received a phone call, I again called Elite Auto on the morning of Thursday, May 26th. I was told by the employee that he himself would call the driver and have the driver call me. When several hours passed without a phone call I called at 5:11pm on Thursday May 26th and I spoke with a person who identified himself as Ruben. When I gave him my confirmation number, his exact words were: “I don’t see a driver assigned to your order, let me call my boss, Serge, who didn’t come into work today. I will call you right back.” At this point almost all communication with Elite Auto ceased and became increasingly difficult. The office phone number went straight to voicemail and no one at the company returned any messages or emails. At approximately 11: 30am of Friday May 27, 2011, after many hours of trying I was able to reach someone called “Serge”. He told me that Ruben had lied and that a driver would be coming to pick up my car between 4-6pm that day. He provided the driver’s phone number.(a Google Voice number that went straight to voicemail each and every time). At this time I got a phone call from another transport company (Capital Auto Transport) that I had called at the last minute when Elite Auto stopped answering the phone. They told me that my car was still posted on Central Dispatch by Elite Auto and that no carrier had been assigned to it. They told me that approximately 150 cars in the region were waiting for pick up, all offering more money and that no carrier would move my car at the Elite Auto price. When I mentioned that Elite Auto had a driver, the new company encouraged me to get the carrier company and driver’s insurance information. If Elite Auto was telling the truth they would be able to immediately email the insurance information of the carrier company contracted to ship my car. I again tried to contact Elite Auto. After much time I was able to contact them using the phone numbers of friends and family. Elite Auto wouldn’t pick up when I called but they would when I used a different phone number. They said that we were annoying them by calling every 5 minutes and that the driver would come by at 6pm. They said that they were also a carrier company in addition to being a broker company and that their own driver was coming to pick up the car. They said that they would email the insurance information, but I have yet to receive it. They also refused to provide the USDOT # of their carrier company saying they didn’t have it available for the particular truck that was coming to me because they had over 60 trucks they owned. At this point I contacted the US Department of Transportation and their FMCSA subdivision. The DOT reported to me that Elite Auto was licensed as only a broker company and had no carrier company license. More and more time went time and we were not able to contact anyone at Elite Auto or their “driver”. As 6pm passed without any communication we started calling other companies. One such company my father contacted at 6: 15 pm was a company based closer to my final destination: “Hayward Auto Transport. 442 Sycamore Ave, Hayward CA, .” We told by someone named “Serge” that they were a broker and carrier company. This made us suspicious and when we couldn’t find this business in the Better Business Bureau website we called back and asked if they had a different company name and they responded “Elite Auto Shipping”. I couldn’t believe it. “Hayward Auto Transport” was some sort of shell company for Elite Auto and they were perpetuating they lie that they were both a broker and carrier company to new unsuspecting consumers. My father took the opportunity to confront Serge as to why no driver had arrived, but all Serge would say was that he would take our information and call the driver and then he hung up, never to be heard from again. That was my last communication with Elite Auto Shipping. No driver called and arrived to pick up my car. No email messages or phone calls have been returned. I believe that Elite Auto lied about being a carrier company and having a driver in order to disguise the fact that they had purposefully underbid in order to pocket my deposit. Or when they realized that no carrier company would move my car at the price Elite Auto was offering they decided to salvage the situation by blatantly lying and behaving in an all round dishonorable and dishonest manner. Either way they have no intention of shipping my car. I believe that their actions are also criminal and constitute fraud in that they tried to manipulate and lie in order to pocket $200 for services not tendered. They have yet to respond to my request to return my deposit and furthermore my car hasn’t been shipped and had to be left behind in Pennsylvania. The smooth and measured way Elite Auto acted makes me believe that I am not the first person that this company has perpetuated this scam/fraud upon.  (more)

I moved my 2004 toyota prius from flint, mi to NC due to change of my job. I received my vehicle in the 5 days as was promised by Elite. The Driver was very polite and was there on the pick-up and drop-off. Off-course vehicle was dirty a little bit, but I used an open carrier, so i expected some dirt. In short Elite Auto Shipping did a great job and will see business from me in the future.  (more)

We've used Elite Auto Shipping to ship my two camarys from the west coast to new york. So when i bought a new car for my wife in conneticut elite was the first company i thought of. The vehicle was in excellent condition when it arrived and on time as promised. They were very professional and very prompt with excellent service. Phone service is superb: helpful, accurate, and courteous. There are a lot of auto mover companies out there but if I ever have to ship a car again, I will definitely use Elite Auto Shipping.  (more)

I required my 72' corvette to be transported to my brother-in-laws house, so i did some reasearch and found elite. The move was from San Francisco to Washington state and i had never done this before however my agent serge made the whole transport easy. My car was delivered on time and i couldnt of done a better job of it myself. Even when my car was being delivered a day earlier then expected I was given enough notice to make arrangements for the drop off. Their staff was helpful and knowledgeable when it came to my questions about the transport. I was also given a reasonable price for my car transport. After having a major accident on a highway in VA, I can honestly say that dealing with Elite Auto was WORSE than the accident. We contacted several companies to transport my car from southern VA to northern VA (~6 hrs driving). Elite Auto had the lowest quote and also stated, both on the phone and on the contract, that they would deliver the car on the SAME DAY. One day went by, no word. We tried calling and left several voicemails but no response. Two days, we received a response that we would get it the next day. Three days, same thing. No truck has picked it up yet, they are very busy, they will call us back. NO CALL BACK. Four days, still no car. We contacted another transport company and suddenly Elite Auto is very interested in our business again and is fighting with the other company so that they can keep our business. We agree, but now they want to charge us another $100 more than the original quote and the car still cannot be delivered for another day. Five days, still no car, and now I have missed my family vacation all because I made the wrong choice with Elite Auto. LOOK AT THE NEW YORK BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU WEBSITE. GRADE: F. FOUR COMPLAINTS, NO RESPONSE. If this happens to you, talk to your bank. You should not be charged for services NOT RENDERED. Our bank refunded our deposit and will now make sure they are refunded the deposit by Elite Auto.  (more)

I have never had occasion to use an automobile shipping company before and this is the first time I have used a transport services for shipping my car across the country. I have been very please with the Elite Auto Shipping services I used. My car arrived quickly and was very informed on where and when the car arrived and was picked up! I was very happy with the prompt service of Elite Auto Shipping wide.Overall, I had a great experience, and would definitely use them again in the future if needed.  (more)

While the initial pick-up time was delayed due to mechanical problems with a new truck, the company keep me appraised about the delay and rescheduled the date and times to fit my schedule. Once scheduled (one day later), the pick-up time was meet to the minute and the vehicles were loaded promptly and delivered immediately to my new home. Excellent customer service.  (more)
