: Very bad experience
Very bad experience with Direct Connect Auto Transport.
Signed paper with them in Dec. 2021, targeted for pick up on Jan 5, 2022.
They were not able to find a truck until Jan. 27.
No communication and I have to chase them for update. All I got from them was nothing but "we are working on it".
When they finally managed to find a truck, I was asked to add $100 to the originally agreed price.
Irresponsible and not trustworthy. Stay away! (more)

: Total scam
Signed contract to ship car. Kept being told it would get picked up and then they wanted more money. Finally, they said I broke contract and billed my credit card full amount and never got the car shipped even though I kept trying. Total scam artists...run away from them as fast as you can. (more)

: FRAUDS< SCAM ARTISTS
Direct Connect Auto Transport. TOTAL FRAUDS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!. They caused $700 damage to my vehicle and refused to pay for it or provide insurance information. They tell you that they are not brokers, BUT THEY ARE. They tell you that they transport using their own trucks, THEY DON’T HAVE ANY. They will give your vehicle to a broken down GYPSY type operator. They will tell you that they are a large company with offices (22) in every major city. NOT TRUE. Their offices are P.O. BOXES, mostly UPS stores. Since when is a P.O. BOX an OFFICE? Since when is a P.O. BOX a pick up or drop off location, as they even state on their website. They operate in TINY OFFICE SPACES in POMPANO BEACH and FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA. All of their local phone numbers (YOUR LOCAL AREA CODE), are redirected to their FRAUD HEADQUARTERS in Florida. BAIT and SWITCH!!! They told me that they deliver in Washington DC and then after they took my money, they said that they don’t deliver in WASH DC. They delivered my vehicle on a street corner in Maryland. It even states on their PHONY WEBSITE that they drop off in Wash DC. Maybe the little man in their PO BOX at the UPS STORE at 1300 Pennsylvania Ave in DC was off that day. FRAUDS, LIES, FALSE ADVERTISING, BAIT and SWITCH. Don’t believe any of their testimonials on line. Everything else about this company is a sham, the testimonials must be as well. I dealt with sweet talking KIMBERLY LUNSMAN, BECKY, and later on with the owner JOHN COSTELAC. I am currently working with State (Florida)), and Federal Agencies. BUYERS BEWARE. SENIOR CITIZENS BEWARE You may contact me at v.sira@aol.com. (more)

: Please Refund My Money
I did what was asked in accordance to your contract, email and phone call on JUNE 2, 2014. Now please refund my money.
June 2, 2014
I am a retired Navy Veteran, so I know something about moving and shipping my vehicle. This however was my very first long move on my own and it was coming out of my pocket. Normally it was the moving companies that I had the problems with and not with the auto transport. So this was a very disappointing experience. I am not even certain when I will get my money back, or if they have conveniently lost my email. But I still have a copy.
I just wanted to let Mark and Kimberly of Direct Connect Auto that I am no longer upset with them, not that I think they would care and to thank you both for the horrible customer service that you gave to me and the genuine terror that you would have your driver do something to my car. That is what caused me to cancel my order and drive my own car from FL to WA. It truly was the most exciting experience that I ever had!
First, you both need to get your lies straight before you verbally attack a customer (who has spent 1400.00) for asking a simple question. "When will the driver be arriving?" That was all I wanted to know, I understood Mark that your company is not a “taxi service.” I understood the 24 to 48 hour window, and we had a flexible flight plan. It would have been okay. But please answer your customers’ calls; return their messages, Mark you could have even said the driver would not be there till the next day instead of “they have been dispatch so they will be there sometime today” and you could not get in contact with the driver which I found interesting because your supervisor could, of course your drivers seemed to be coming from different directions. It still would have been okay, just communicate. My moving company was a day late too but at least they called. Instead you were hostile with me, fussed at me and lied to me. But it’s okay! (1400.00)
I was so upset that I left at 4pm on 2 June and made it to Atlanta, GA. in 5 hours. Awesome customer service at the Marriott!
The next morning was a 15 hr push to make it to Omaha, NE. But along the route it was recommended that I stop in Kansas City to experience the great Arthur Bryant's Legendary Kansas City BBQ. The line was so long that it took me 30 minutes to get to the front, but still outstanding customer service!
Now my delay was actually a good thing because an hour from Omaha I ran into my first tornado...hmmm...never been so scared in my life, but I again that was okay, I found a safe place to park for another 30 minutes and ate what I thought would be my last meal...KANSAS CITY BBQ! MMMM...
So after I was done eating I slowly made my way to OMAHA still experiencing all of the wind, rain and the up drafts.
I made it to my hotel as the last of the tornado passed. Again, amazing customer service.
Hit the road early on that Wednesday June 4, 2014 and got to see for the first time what kind of damage a tornado and hail can do to a person and car. Horrible.
So the friend that I was suppose to fly out with was still miffed at me for not coming with her so she mapped out the remainder of my trip with a final surprise. But not before I got to see, The Corn Palace (so cool), Al's Oasis, The Badlands and at the insistence of 4 people MT. Rushmore, which was seen in a down pour rain but still fun.
My last hotel stop was the ULTIMATE! And of course the best revenge you could ever get on a friend. She told me that I had to experience some of Montana so she booked me at the DUDE RANCH in Billings, MO. What she neglected to tell me was that it was a Haunted hotel. Yeah, the bed was comfy and the customer service was excellent but I did not sleep much my last night to the road.
Again hit the road early and stopped at Billings HONDA for some quick 5000 mile service. Again Amazing customer service! They really wanted to make sure that I made it safely to my destination. Thank you guys!
Now the final 10 hours June 5, 2014 was only delayed by the 1930 blasting in the Snoqualmie Mountains. I made it to that point at 2030 and only sat in traffic for 20 minutes. (Normally it is a two hour delay).
My last and final stop was THE HOTEL MONICO in Seattle. Out of all of the stops this was indeed my favorite. Now I was not spending 1400.00 or even 500.00 for my stay and I was not even dressed in wonderful clothes, but from the guy who valets my car to room service they were AMAZING! Sincerely THE BEST, THE FRIENDLIEST AND THE MOST WELCOMING people that I have ever met!
So in closing, Mark, Kimberly, your company may have a 5 star rating but I sincerely doubt that it is because of the two of you. So really, ask your company to send you to some customer service classes to improve your attitudes and maybe you might reach the standards of some of the places I have listed. Way to treat your Veterans folks.

: Unimaginable Rudeness - Customer Service Was Terrible Experience for Me
Contacted this company's local office here in FL (954-321-3404) on Wed, 3/5/14, to ask details regarding available pick up schedule. I had contacted other companies prior to contacting this company and wanted to verify two things; availability of pick up and price. I spoke with Mark whom advised with COMPLETE certainty that either Friday/Saturday (3/7-8/14) the vehicle could be picked up and he assured me by indicating 'I've got five trucks coming thru Memphis every day, don't worry, we can pick it up and fit it in.' As the vehicle being shipped is with my family, in TN, I asked my father to contact Mark (as Mark gave me his direct line: 310-256-4554). My father called Mark yesterday, 3/6/14 and he advised he wasn't in the office therefore, to call back the next day early at 8:30 a.m. so they could schedule the pick up and get the vehicle transported. My father did so, signed the contract, and gave his credit card. Only problem is, NOW Mark indicated that the vehicle not only MAY be picked up today, or tomorrow, but that MONDAY seemed most likely.
This is not why we chose to go with this company but rather for the flexibility of pick up. My father called me after getting all the details together to tell me what Mark had told him. He told me he had already signed the contract and that everything was set up but they had to call him back and advise 'when' they could pick it up, the vehicle. I told him I was gonna reach out to Mark to find out the details of the pick up. I called the direct line number Mark provided and when he got on the phone my exact words were; "Hi Mark, my name is Robert and you just spoke with my dad about a vehicle shipment from TN to FL and he just signed the contract, well, I'm a little worried/dissapointed because when we spoke earlier this week you indicated with certainty the vehicle could be picked up Fri/Sat and now there's a possibility the vehicle may be picked up on Monday." Without ANY other words being spoken, Mark responded; "Look, we ship 2,000 vehicles a year we don't need your business and I can just cancel the order." I responded by saying; 'Mark, I don't know where you got the impression that I'm trying to be aggressive or rude, but I'm simply calling to discuss the details of the pickup as it's a little different than when we spoke earlier." He responded with; 'WE SPOKE ON WEDNESDAY. OF course the vehicles are gonna fill up," to which I said; "But Mark, you said there were five trucks coming thru. My father called you yesterday to set the contract up but he reached out to you a little too late in the day and you said to call him back tomorrow. I wasn't aware there was a 'contract no later than X date' as when we spoke previously I stressed the reason I called your company was because other companies didn't have flexible pick up schedules."
After I said this he said; "Well, I don't need your shit and I'm going to go ahead and cancel your order." I tried to stress to him that in no way was I calling to cancel what had already been set up only to ask about the pick up date. When I told him I didn't want to argue with him and I'd rather just speak with his manager, he HUNG UP ON ME. Not by accident either, because when I attempted to call him back three times in a row, he refused to pick up the phone. When I called the local office number (954-321-3404) I requested to speak to the manager and I was told that Kimberly, the lady I was now speaking to, was the 'most senior person whose been there six years so SHE was the manager.' As I'm explaining what happened, my father received the email of the cancellation of the transport. He called me during my conversation with Kimberly, for which I asked if I could place her on hold and take his call, since he was the one who originally set up the contract. Well, she hung up.
I attempted to call the local number 4 more times, and each time they saw my number calling, the call was picked up and immediately hung up on. It was only when I called back the local number and hit option '1' to 'request a quote' so I could speak with someone, wouldn't ya know it, I got Kimberly again. Her attitude had COMPLETELY changed from our first call, refused to acknowledge that our call was dropped/disconnected and even went as far as to explain to me, despite me requesting to file a complaint, that Mark was 'one of their best' and that 'it was probably a personality clash' but that the order had been cancelled. When I expressed that I never wanted the order to be cancelled she never attempted to resubmit the vehicle transport service and flat out refused me service. When I asked whom her supervisor was and how could I get ahold of them, she indicated there 'was no one over her.'
I would not do any sort of business with this company and find it a travesty that a veteran such as myself, such as my father and such as my mother, can be treated this way. The vehicle resides closely to Millington Naval Air Station where my mother served in the Navy, faithfully, for over 20 years and continues to serve her country as a government contractor along my father. Please, PLEASE, P-L-E-A-S-E do not stand for this type of service and vote with your dollars by choosing companies with better reputations and customer service, as I surely will.
Thank you for your attention and reading.

: I would USe this Company
I called Nathan to get a quote at the same time I must of had over 20 people call me to ship me car and were trying to force me to use them. I was not impressed with some of these tactics they were using. I found this company Direct Connect Auto transport on google and took a chance with them. They have been around for a long time and have alot of good reviews out there. I would use them. My car was delivered in one piece and could not be more HAPPY!!! (more)

: JR RUBIN IS A DISHONEST BROKER!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! JR RUBIN IS A DISHONEST BROKER! Direct Connect Automobile Transport uses drivers that should not be on the road. Waited over two hours at the pick up location for driver, this was an hour away from agreed upon location because driver had know idea where he was. The auto arrived two days late which is not a big deal at all. The problem was I could not get a hold of the driver for two days and when I finally did he said he would be there in the afternoon. At 7:00PM called him back and he said he wasn't coming to the next day. Here is the kicker, car showed up with $1475 worth of damage and so filthy I couldn't tell what color it was. Now I know things happen but try getting a hold of JR Rubin to get a claim resolved. Now that he has his money refuses to answer his phone or call back. Further, JR told me he knew all the drivers and they were on all responsible and once the vehicle is on the carrier it doesn't move. Not true as the vehicle was in a different place when it arrived. The drivers name is Yoan Sanchez who owns Troya Logistics LLC out of Miami FL. Still waiting to hear from JR or driver to resolve this issue. Would absolutely never use Direct Connect again. (more)

: DO NOT USE!!!
Bought a truck in Ft Lauderdale. Supposedly was on the truck Thursday to be delivered to TN on monday and the driver would contact us 1 day before dropoff. By Monday at lunch no call so I called to get an update and was informed that the truck was never loaded due to some faulty hydraulics but that it would be fixed by 2pm and my vehicle would be loaded immediately and delivered by wed or thu. Called thursday and was informed that my delivery had been pushed back to sat or sun. I was never notified of these delays until i initiated contact with them each time. This whole incident seemed to stem from a confrontation my wife had with this John character (owner) during first contact after purchase. Needless to say he was petty and douchy about the whole thing and i strongly suspect that my shipment was delayed purposely. I recommend that you find other means of delivery! (more)
