South Beach Transport - Review

I had never transported a vehicle before and South Beach Transport was amazing. They kept in contact, they worked hard to accommodate everything for us and the price was great. The Truck driver was also great, he picked the vehicle up on time and actually delivered it a day early which worked out perfectly. I highly recommend this company and especially Amy and Leo for any of your transport needs.Thank you South Beach for making this a wonderful experience!  (more)

Manny Cabrera was our sales rep who handled our situation with professionalism and excellent communication. For starters, my hubby appreciated the fact that Manny tuned into his directives helping him feel comfortable with the transport of his pride and joy, a silver Mbz E-350, hubby baby. Even though the 1st driver appointed didnot work out, Manny follow-through provided us with a great driver, Steve. We got what we requested enclosed transport, good communicator-driver with on time performance and a highly responsible individual who would treat hubbys car with the utmost care. We believe in tipping for outstanding service which Steve deserved and received. Manny offered competitive pricing with outstanding service. It was important to us that he stood by the agreed-upon quote given, which he did. A lot of other transports do not. We were not charged anything until hubbys car was safely delivered and inspected. A great experience, would highly recommend Manny at South Beach Transport.  (more)

I needed a last minute transport done and I had been signed up with another company and no one showed. I needed to get my car from Maryland to San Francisco. I was flying out the next day in the evening. I had gotten a few voice messages from Nicole Cooke, so out of sheer panic and desperation, I called her. It was after 6pm so I thought I would get her voicemail. I was totally floored that Nicole answered me. I told her my dilemma and what time my flight was. She gave me 3 options regular, expedited or enclosed. She recommended the expedited. It was pricey but I needed my car GONE. She called me around 10pm that she had a truck with space and he could pick up the next morning. He was on my doorstep 7:30am. The relief to see my car leave on a truck, was immeasurable. I got to San Francisco. Between the trucker, Mike, his dispatcher, Julie and Nicole I was kept updated on my transport. My car made it without a scratch. I am happy to recommend Nicole and South Beach Transport  (more)

This guys sent me like 10 emails and phone calls giving me a quote to ship my car and when I agreed to ship they backed up wanting more money stating had misquoted. Unreliable people Beware. I am glad I did not send my car thru them. Saulo  (more)

Mark at south beach transport shipped my Bentley GT so of course I was a little nervous,however as the hauler arrived there was a Ferrari on the truck so clearly they knew how to transport vehicles. My car was strapped around the wheels , not the undercarriage. The driver was friendly and my beauty arrived undamaged, and on time. Vehicle was clean after traveling 2100 miles. I was t looking for the cheapest, I was looking for great service and credibility and I got it! My hat goes off to mark and the south beach crew. Not much I could of asked for. Agreed to deliver vehicle week of order if I would accept $450 price. Several days later Robert said he coudn't find anyone do it and needed a lot more money to deliver as promised. Got someone else to do it in an hour for $450 price.  (more)

Nicole Cooke with South Beach Transport told us during the first call that the vehicle would be delivered within four days. Almost a month later, and numerous calls of being told it would happen the next day, the next week etc. the vehicle never got delivered and the promised calls did not happen. This was false representation from the beginning and cost us tremendous amounts in storage fees and rental expenses. Unacceptable!  (more)

Original pick up date picked by SOUTH BEACH 12-26-13. Was not picked up. Every day was another phone call and another "It is scheduled to be picked up today, Let me call you right back with the details". Never a call back and now 11 days after pick up date, I am looking for someone with some honesty and integrity. South Beach Transport IS NOT IT!! A complete and utter waste of nearly two weeks and hours of dealing with lies and incompetence. I am kind of glad they did not pick up the car. I shutter to think of what a train wreck that would have ended up being. If you plenty of time to get jacked around and lied to, South Beach Transport is your ticket!!  (more)

If you like being treated poorly and professionalism is unimportant, then these guys have you covered. They start off with a sales pitch that just bad mouths their competitors and they urge you to “burn the emails any competitors sent you” (kind of a silly pitch, but ok). After you (and I, foolishly) agree to their terms and sign paperwork, they’ll continue to spam the crap out of your inbox with ads (why, you already have my business?), annoying, but whatever :delete:. After the carrier picked up my car, they called my phone 13 times and left 5 voicemails with in a couple hours of each other! It was in the middle of my work day, why can’t I just call you back on my break!? When I called back, they increased the price to transport my car $100! I told them I wasn’t paying an increase and I already had a signed contract. I talked to the actual company moving my car and South Beach Transport gave them a quote that was higher than what they told me, just plain bad business. Finally picked up my car (it was in good shape). Bottom line, be careful what broker you use to transport your vehicle, might as well pay the extra $100 to one of the other guys rather than get jerked around by South Beach Transport. Due to an awful experience and feeling like the broker cared more about getting his cut rather than providing good, honest customer service, I would not recommend these guys. Scheduled 3 days in advance. Day of pickup was not picked up. Poor communication. Called about no pickup never heard response. Called 3 days later, told the carrier wanted more money. Never told me this until I called him. Charged another 4 days of storage. Poor service  (more)

was qouted 998 and agreed i told them they could pickup my car anytime in the next 2 weeks and get it out there anytime within a month. after two week and numerious phone call trying find out when it was going to be done i was told a driver was on the way but i needed to refax my cotract. i was all packed up and asked what was different and was told the routes got pushed back and i needed to approve a different route which i guess is code that we are going to charge you 350.00 more than we told you. when i caught them they said they could cause they hadnt taken their money yet. stay away from this company they really put us in a bind at the last minute!!!  (more)

I was pleased with my experience. It was the cheapest quote we obtained. The customer service at All American transport (Vivian) was good. The car was picked up on the last day of the three day window with about an hours notice. The guys I dealt with at the transport company were helpful, and they picked up the car as close to my house as possible. The car showed up in Fl two days later and was delivered to the exact address we had specified. The car was pretty dirty on the outside but was undamaged and all our possessions were untouched. ON MAY 4, 2012 I REQUESTED FOR A LICNOLN TOWN CAR TO BE MOVED FROM LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK TO SAN DIEGO, CA. I GAVE JIM MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS FOR THE TOTAL OF $1,099 AND WAS TOLD A BROKER FEE OF $200 WOULD BE INCLUDED. I CALL BACK DAILY TO FIND OUT THE STATUS OF MY CAR UNTIL MAY 8TH. FIRST OFF I BOUGHT THE CAR OFF OF COPART AN ONLINE AUCTION NOT RUNNING CONDITION AND IT WAS IN THE DISRCIPTION THAT THE CAR WAS NOT RUNNING AS WELL MENTIONED OVER THE PHONE TO JIM. I PATIENTLY WAITED UNTIL MAY 8TH, CALLING DAILY, THE MORNING OF THE 8TH I TEXTED JIM TO FIND THE STATUS OF MY VEHICLE TO SEE IF IT HAS BEEN MOVED YET. HE MENTIONED HE FOUND A CARRIER FINALLY FOR $1250. $150 MORE THAN EXPECTED, BUT I AGREED. COME TO FIND OUT BY TEXTING JIM AGAIN A FEW HOURS LATER THAT HIS SUPERVISIOR TIM MITCHEL HAS FIRED JIM STEVENS. JIM STEVENS WAS THE ONE THAT HELPED THE MOST AND WAS ON TOP OF EVERYONE TRYING TO GET MY VEHICLE TRANSPORTED, BECAUSE THEN THE CARRIER WANTED TO BUMP UP MY PRICE ONCE AGAIN. SIX HOURS LATER I WAS CONTACTED BY TIM MITHCEL (SUPERVISOR) AND WAS TOLD THEY HAD LET JIM STEVENS GO. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY, WHEN HE WAS THE ONE THAT HELPED. TIM EXPLAINS TO ME THAT WE HAVE TO BUMP UP THE PRICE EVEN MORE TO GET THIS CAR MOVED OTHERWISE THE CAR IS GOING TO KEEP SITTING ON THE BOARD. WELL THE PRICE IS GOING TO BE $1,550 I LAUGHED AND SAID NO WAY, THIS IS ABSURD! HOW COULD THESE ASSHOLES PLAY WITH THERE CUSTOMERS THIS WAY. HE EXPLAINED A NON-OPP VEHICLE IS AN ADDITIONAL $200, BROKER FEE $200. JIM EVEN OFFERED TO REDUCE MY BROKER FEE TO $150 BECAUSE THE CARRIER WANTED MORE TO WORK WITH ME AND GET MY VEHICLE MOVED. THE SUPERVISOR DIDN'T EVEN NUDGE. I TOLD TIM MITHCHEL ( SUPERVISOR ) TO FORGET IT! AND HE SAID YOUR VEHICLE HAS BEEN SITTING ON THE BOARD YOUR GOING TO GO THROUGH THIS WHOLE PROCESS AGAIN SO GOOD LUCK IF YOU WANT TO FIND SOMETHING IN A SARCASTIC VOICE AND HANGS UP BEFORE I COULD SAY ANOTHER WORD. VERY DISSAPOINTED/ANGRY I NOW HAD TO GO THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS ONCE AGAIN AND START FROM SCRATCH. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRID. BTW I HAVE BEEN CHARGED $20 STORAGE FEE BY COPART ALL OF THIS TIME BECAUSE SOUTH BEACH TRANSPORT HAS NOT MOVED MY VEHICLE. I CALLED UNITED CAR TRANSPORT MAY 8TH, AND GUESS WHAT! CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT THEY TOLD ME FOR $1,350 THEY COULD GET MY CAR MOVED WITHIN 24-48 HRS. HANNA AT UNITED CALLED ME AT 6 A.M. TO MENTION SHE ALREADY HAS A DRIVER THAT HAS PICKED UP MY VEHCILE AND SHOULD BE HERE IN LESS THEN A WEEK! STRESS FREE AND PROMPT. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEN UNITED CAR TRANSPORT!. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELVES FROM THIS DISASTROUS MESS, STAY AWAY FROM SOUTH BEACH TRANSPORT.... I HAVE VEHCILE'S TRANSPORTED 1-5 TIMES A YEAR AND NOW WILL CALL UNITED CAR TRANSPORT RIGHT AWAY!  (more)
