I want to acknowledge my appreciation regarding John Scharff professionalism in keeping me abreast of delivery scheduling. I also want to remark how conscientious Billy Evans was in his prompt arrival and correspondence prior to and during delivery of my 57 Chevy.. Overall the experience with Transport Passport was outstanding and I can confidently recommend their process for pick-up and delivery of any vehicle to all future customers. (more)

When I called Passport Transport I was only one day away from purchasing my car. It was it Florida and I was in Illinois. It came together so fast and I was hoping that I could find a company that could pick it up fairly soon. They were able to tell me on the phone that they had a crew nearby that was getting ready to head north. This was on a Tuesday. They were so nice that they stayed overnight instead of leavig and waited for my wire transfer to take place Wed. morning. They picked up my car at about 2pm on Wed and it was in my garage at 10am Friday morning. Wow, who does that? The guys delivering the car were so nice and I was really glad that I called Passport Transport. I know that my delivery time was lucky because of where the pickup crew was when I called, but everything else went perfect as well. Every person I talked to was great. They were the highest priced but thats why I called them. This was a big purchase for me and I wanted the best company. I think you get what you pay for. The delivery guys were employees of the company and not subs that the company may never have even met. To me that was important. If I had to say something negative it would be that the tracking number was not available as fast as I expected. I didnot get it until the next morning (Thursday). The thing is that you can call (during business hours) and they will tell you within seconds where the car is and most likely give you the tracking number over the phone.
If I ever did this again I would go directly to these guys. Thanks Passport Transport for a great job. Perry, Rockford, Illinois (more)

: Classic (And Emotional) Auto Transport
Thirteen years ago my wife finally acquired her dream car: a Barrett-Jackson quality 1969 Mach I. 390, Holley carbs, shaker hood, etc. Due to a chronic, degenerative back problem, she has been unable to drive for the past eleven years, so she decided to gift the car to a relative.
Throughout what was as much an emotional as physical situation, Passport Transport was unfailingly understanding and sympathetic. When we were unable to confirm transport time within the initially proposed period, they immediately rescheduled the pickup window without penalty or complaint. Their own truck and driver (Sean) arrived promptly at the designated pickup location. Despite being on a schedule, the driver took ample time to allow my wife to say goodbye to the car, took pictures that he subsequently sent her of the car at its delivery destination, and loaded it with as much care as if it was his own vehicle. I noticed that every other car in the 75 enclosed trailer appeared to be a Mercedes or BMW headed back to Texas.
Not only would I trust Passport Transport with another vehicle, I had trust them with a crateload of Tiffany glass. (more)

Passport is an A+ company and moves the cars themselves. Bought a classic car from a seller with a difficult personality. John at Passport Transport got involved and walked the whole thing through, so that I would not be hassled. GPS made tracking easy. Driver was easy to schedule, loading & unloading were quick & professional. Thanks for protecting my car and getting my car to me WITHOUT damage or drama. Great work! (more)

The vehicle was picked in a timely manner, took a few days longer than expected but I wasn’t in a rush. It arrived in perfect condition and the driver Andy was excellent. Chris in the office was a pleasure to deal with as well. (more)

It took a while to get on the schedule and it was worth it. The van arrived on time. Kurt was friendly and very careful with all of the vehicles on it. The T arrived on time and in good condition. (more)

I contracted Passport Transport to pick up and deliver my newly purchased Delorean, from Crystal Lake IL to Las Vegas NV. The window of the contract was 29 Oct to 19 Nov 2018 (for pick-up). I was notified by email (16 Nov) that the earliest they could pick up was 26 Nov - 5 Dec. When I posted reviewed for Passport Transport on the BBB website, Passport assured me that although I might be "soured" they are not negligent because I had not paid the $500 for guaranteed dates. Entire process was flawless and reasonably priced. Driver Dave Mazure is a fine gentleman and a credit to Passport. Used Passport years ago to ship cars to Pebble and back, as well as deliver cars I bought at various auctions, etc. Great to see the company is still the best there is!!!!!! (more)

gave me a time frame, never came, called, told me after over a month waiting it would be another 3 weeks at least. Even called last week, told me it would be that friday or this monday. Never called to tell me it wasnt happening. (more)

I noted that the delivery was very quick which cannot be matched up by any other Company, They are giving individual care for each customers. Driver communicates well about my car's position and even also about the delivery time. It was a pleasurable I had. Good one. (more)

This was the first time I had an automobile shipped so I don't actually have any other experiences to compare it against, but from my viewpoint everything went smoothly. Placing the order online was a simple process. Matthew was very responsive to my emails and kept me informed throughout the complete process. Marek and his crew were punctual and accommodating when the car was delivered. Overall I have no complaints and wouldn't hesitate to use FedEx again or suggest them to someone who was having a car shipped. (more)

I received a prompt email quote from FEDEX followed up in a couple of hours with a phone call from them, who answered all of my questions to include the feasibility of a pick up as soon as possible. An hour later I received a call back again from the same person and he informed me that he had located a driver, and that he could pick up my vehicle in the same day. He made the pick up at his scheduled time and to my delight delivered my truck in the next morning an hour earlier than projected.
All involved a were knowledgeable and professional. My thanks to all involved for the transportation. (more)

Ultimately, the driver is responsible for the quality of service you receive for car transportation. You cannot get anyone better than J.E. Finneman, an independent contractor to FedEx Custom Critical. He could have fulfilled his duties completely by unloading the car, having us sign the forms, taking the payment and leaving. However, he went the extra miles. (more)
