: Transportation of auto from FL to KS
Was contacted by Rick of RMD and he provided links with very nice ratings and lofty promises with a below market rate to move my vehicle. I told him I was still looking around after a while. He contacted me back and said they have a carrier in Tampa Florida right now and can pick our vehicle up as early as tonight with that I agreed to go forward with using this carrier. no surprise looking back there was no carrier and after one weeks time I put two and two together and realized Rick was just hoping to get my business knowing his next job was upsell. Sure enough. Hey I have a duplicate bid for your car and the carrier that is available now expects the additional $300 to move the vehicle and he can do it right now , you just need to update your contract for a $300 price increase. At this point, I told him I was gonna have an alternative plan and then he started pulling out contract limitations. I told him correctly that in section 9 I was not obligated to him if he could not find a carrier within the allotted time for the allotted money agreed or if I canceled the service before he found a carrier each time he tried to hustle me. I have no idea how his ratings could be so high as I assume this is all part of the hustle. (more)

My mother needed her car transported from Ct to Florida. We had been stiffed by another company and hung out to dry.
Tonya from Red Carpet Auto Transport was there to help immediately.
In less than 24 hours on New Years Eve for that matter, she was able to get the car transported at a fair price within hours.
This was an incredible task being most transport companies are off enjoying the Holiday..

: Picked car after order was cancelled
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I contracted this carrier to pick up a car in Florida to transport to Indiana. After two weeks, I cancelled the order because they were unable to find transport. I found a company the next day to pick up the car. When the second company arrived to pick up the car, it was gone. Appearently, Red Carpet found a carrier after the order was cancelled and picked up the car. I lost my deposit paid to the second company, and Red Carpet would not refund me that money, even though they said it was their fault that their carrier picked up the car. And on top of that, the car was delivered to Chicago, not Indiana, and I had to go pick it up.

: Dishonest and Inefficient
My overall experience with Red Carpet was poor. I spoke with 4 different people and got a different answer from each. The original quote was $730, but when I called back it magically jumped to $780 then the next call was $790 and finally it was dispatched at $900 (without my approval). They claimed that they would call me to "approve" the dispatch at a higher price, but that didn't happen. They missed one driver that wanted to transport it (due to their inefficient process) and it was 3 days before another driver could pick it up (and at a higher cost). After my poor experience, I submitted a negative review to TransportReviews.com. Red Carpet Auto then lied to that website claiming I was never a customer to get my review taken down. I had to provide my invoice to TransportReviews.com to get it reinstated. (more)

When things go right even a cheap company looks great. It's when there is a problem that you hope you hired a company to come to your rescue. Red Carpet is NOT that company. After I paid my money contact was brief. When my car was not delivered as promised Red Carpet was not there for me. No one called me to say what went wrong. Even from the first day I asked RED CARPET for the transport drivers phone number, that never happened. My advice is find a shipper who actually ships cars not one who takes your money makes a phone call and you now deal with a third party. Good luck on your shipping if you pick Red Carpet be prepared to Pray for a lucky on time delivery (more)

: Orbit Auto Transport Review
I am writing this review about Orbit Auto Transport contracted by Red Carpet.
I shipped two vehicles using Orbit Auto. Being active duty Navy, we move around a lot and by far this was the worst experience from start to finish. I video-taped the pick-up and delivery, documenting mileage and conditions of both vehicles. I even had a police officer present at delivery to witness everything. I explicitly explained to Armen (owner or Orbit) not to deliver my cars at night. My cars (2002 Honda Accord and 2003 Cadillac CTS) were delivered at 10pm 18 Aug 2012. My initial inspection of my two vehicles, I discovered that my 2002 Honda was driven 288 miles without my consent of course, my DOD base stickers were scraped off due to my windshield being totally replaced without my knowledge, I discovered that by finding shards of broken glass all over the interior. I also discovered blood stains on my dashboard and cigarette ashes all over both vehicles, we are non-smokers. I also truned over my Honda with a little under a half of tank of gas, it was delivered totally empty with the low fuel light on. Everytime I spoke to Armen he was extremely RUDE, and even hung up the phone at least three occassions on both my wife and I. Armen denied anything of this nature occured and had the nerve to offer 50 dollars as compensation. Both vehicles were covered in wax to mask the obvious damage. The front and rear bumper of the Cadillac was scraped badly and needs to be totally re-painted. I wouldn't recommed Orbit Auto Transport to my worst enemy, they should be banned from the transport business all together. Armen should be locked away in jail for the SHADY business dealings he conducts.
I'am seeking a full refund and placing a claim with Orbits insurance agency for damages to my two vehicles. I hope this review will help you choose to stay away from Orbit Auto Transport.

: Bad Transport Experience
I hired Red Carpet Auto Transport to contract another company to transport my 2002 Honda Accord and 2003 Cadillac CTS. I was assigned Ann Marie Mathis as my agent. Overall Ann Marie was pleasant. She attempted and failed to resolve my issues with Orbit Auto Transport (Please see review about Orbit). Ann Marie turned over my file to Brandon Bond (VP of Red Carpet). Brandon was somewhat offensive at times and left it up to me to resolve my issues with Orbit, after I explained to him several times that I trusted Red Carpet to contract a legit/reputable company to transport my two vehicles. I asked Brandon to assist with Orbits Insurance Agency and to assist with obtaining a full refund from Orbit. Brandons position was to remove Orbit as a company that Red Carpet would utilize in the future. Everything else was up to me to handle and no more assistance would be provided by Red Carpet. I asked Brandon to speak to Terry Williams (president of Red Carpet). Brandon informed me that I would not be able to speak to Terry and that he handles these types of issues.
I am very displeased with the way Brandon Bond handled my situation with Orbit Auto Transport after trusting Red Carpet to hire a company to professionally transport my two vehicles. I am seeking a full refund from Red Carpet Auto Transport/Orbit Auto Transport. I hope what happened to me doesn't happen to anyone else. I would still like to speak to Red Carpets president Terry Williams.

Tige of RedCarpet auto transport helped me ship my Mustang from Fort Collins, CO to Dallas, TX. He found the carrier within a day and my Mustang reached Dallas safe and good but around 10 hrs late. I had to pick it up at 5 in the morning. It was not a problem, the shipment was quick and the truck driver said he had to go elsewhere after dropping my car off. So I agreed to 5 AM drop off. All went well till then. I was promised a $30 rebate when I write a review. He did not push for a 5 star review. They just wanted me to review the experience in transportreviews.com. I wrote a review and also gave them 5 stars since I was happy with the time they took for finding the carrier and also the car was clean when I got it. It has been 6 months since I submitted a review and have got no rebate card or check from them so far. I have sent several emails and also called a few times but they have not sent me the rebate check. I just wish they were honest and deserved my 5 star rating. Honestly I did not expect them to cheat after having had no problems with the entire shipment process. I would not use them for shipping my car in future. (more)

Do not use this service. It was a three day nightmare. They had no idea what they were doing my car never had a truck assigned promises were not kept.
Could go on for ever, bottom line a had to drive this car 1641 miles (26 hours) myself to meet the commitment that Red Carpet told they could do and did not.
Lots of assurances will be given when they are trying to get your business, but it ends there. (more)

Service from the office staff was excellent. After hearing negatives about other car shipping companies, we were so surprised and happy that my son's car arrived days early. The driver was the best! Recommended Red Carpet to a friend. (more)

They have offered the variety of services to us. They have offered the door to door domestic auto transport service. Which means that the truck they have assigned to pickup your vehicle will come right to our door and pickup our vehicle, without any queries and questions. They have saved our most of the time in the shipping process and the best service in the world I have ever seen in this world. This is the door service for all the international shipments. (more)

The driver was gracious and well-informed about his position. Our dealings with the owners of Southern Idaho Transport were very excellent and they were very accommodating. Our only negative comment is when the driver arrived at the destination and met with my envoy who is my sister, he asked her for a monetary tip. We were not aware of any tip that needed to be passed on to the driver and it was quite awkward and stressful for my sister. Otherwise, I would highly suggest Red Carpet and Southern Idaho Transport.
