Door To Door Transport - Review

They were great! Kelly quoted a price and never pressured us but kept in touch and even gave us a better price once it was time to transport due to filling the truck. The vehicle was picked up on time and the driver kept us informed the whole way. It was delivered in perfect condition and quickly. The drive (Martin) was very nice and took great care with the vehicle. I would definitely recommend them.  (more)

I wish I had read all these reviews before dealing with this company. They are unreliable do not return phone calls . Pretend to have everything under control and never show up. this girl Mikela pretend to be nice. i called her and texted she, never return calls. After waiting for this company to let me know when they were picking up my car and never hearing from them I had to find a different company at the last minute. Very stressful for someone that was moving across country and did not need the additional stress that this company caused me. stay away from this company.  (more)

Our experience with this company was excellent From start to finish. My husband contacted many car hauling companies to try and find the right one for us to use. I have to be honest if I would have read the reviews prior to committing to them we probably would not have used them. However we are so glad we did Roy was very responsive and always available to answer our questions. Our car was picked up on Friday by Tony from Colorado Hauling. He was the best He contacted my husband to let him know when he would be here and then contacted him again to let him know he was close. The car was being sent to my son and Tony was in contact with him as well. Definitely 5 stars for the whole team that got our car from California to Colorado. Big shoutout to Roy and Tony  (more)

Talked to Lola, great lady. She arranged the pick-up and delivery on time, and charged smallest broker fee of all the brokers we called. The car was picked up within 2 weeks and delivered in 3 days, 1080 miles for $890 without a scratch. Some other brokers were charging us over 1K for the same transport job.  (more)

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We moved from NJ to TX, and this was one of the most unprofessional companies we dealt with during our entire move. THEY DO NOT TRANSPORT YOUR CARS.... THEY ARE ONLY A BROKER. I was looking for a company to use a credit card for the full transaction, and we were given a price by Mary Ann (who was the only nice person we spoke to at the company). This price was $2295, plus additional 3% up-charge to use a credit card, totaling $2365. We also had to pay more to have one car shipped here early (bundling would have been cheaper). The car we shipped early was picked up 5 days late, and got delivered 5 days after the date promised. It actually arrived LATER than my other vehicles!! I had to rent a car, an expense which Door to Door will not reimburse (Kelly, the owner, indicated I should go to the transporter for the reimbursement - no respectable company would do that since I hired services with Door to Door, not another company). When the drivers arrived, we HAD TO PAY CASH or couldn't receive our cars. So Door to Door added 3% in the price of my delivery to use a credit card, but DID NOT HONOR USING A CREDIT CARD! And my contract price was $2365, but we ended up having to pay $2495 to get all our cars in the end. THE QUOTED PRICE FROM DOOR TO DOOR WAS NOT HONORED!! I thought the point of hiring a broker was to help organize services and reduce stress in your move. Dealing with Door to Door was the most difficult and stressful part of my entire move (especially the way Kelly speaks to his customers - he is very condescending and unprofessional). Save your money, and use a transporter directly (DO NOT USE A BROKER).  (more)
