Zippy Shell Moving Headquarters - Review

This was the single worst moving decision I ever made. Zippy she will contracts out with a third party mover, and never notified them of my move date. My entire move was delayed five days, flights had to be rebooked, housing arranged, and they are offering of compensation was to waive a rental fee of $219 and give $100 for compensation. Absolutely trash service. Recommend against ever using them.  (more)

I used Zippy Shell for my move from Chicago to Los Angeles. Everyone involved was super helpful and great! Keyonndra was my move coordinator and she was helpful, kind, and very responsive. She was able to give me my delivery window a couple days early (its an 1 hour time period slotted 24 hours prior to your scheduled move date, and we were hiring movers to help us and needed to know sooner (I wish we had just used Zippy Shell folks)) and coordinated my drop-off date in LA super fast. The man who dropped off my shell in Chicago was the nicest person I have ever worked with. Very friendly with the drop off and explained the best way to load the truck. He came back 3 hours later to pick up the shell which is when we had asked him to come back. Our stuff arrived in LA 7 days later, and we were able to schedule the drop-off 3 days after that. So we received our belongings within 10 days total. The 2 men in Los Angeles who helped unload the truck did so in 90 minutes! They were also very careful with our belongings (which included 18 boxes of records - oof!). Nothing was damaged, and everything was as we packed it into the shell. If I ever move again (which hopefully would not be for a long time) I will definitely use Zippy Shell!  (more)
