: very honest service
When I moved across the country from Cincinnati to LA, I probably talked to 50 auto transport companies, and I kid you not, Ebro was the ONLY company I felt like I trusted for one second. George was an honest, no nonsense guy, he picked up my car in Ohio when he said he would, and he arrived in Cali with my car exactly when he said he would. I recommended him to my boss at work when he bought a car out east, and he also had a great experience.
Its a FACT that the auto transport industry is filled to the brim with lying dirtbags who rope you in with price and then switch final cost and dates on you once its too late for you to change. In my personal experience (and my boss experience), George at Ebro was a standup guy. Recommended for sure. Call them directly and leave the slimy brokers out of it! (more)

: The car was delivered dirty, but unscratched.
I shipped my car from CA to NJ. Ebro was the actual shipping/driver that was hired by Road Runner Auto transport to move the car. The driver was very responsive during transport. I knew where the car was and received excellent communication about a time span of when it would be delivered. The car was delivered dirty, but unscratched. Thats the end of the positives.
Negatives: I realize the moving truck carries 8 sedans, so its no small vehicle and cannot get onto smaller side streets. However, for both pick up and drop off, the driver required that we meet him at a larger street almost a mile away from the addresses. Of course I believe in working with the driver, but you are getting a car. The whole point is that you do not have to walk that mile. At pick up, he pointed out a scratched tire hub, stating that he would have to change the entire tire since that could potentially pop the rubber. He blamed me since he had to make a U-turn in the truck to meet me at the location. Also, he hinted that since he delivered it on a long holiday weekend (because he was a day later than the estimated arrival), maybe I should tip him extra. I HATE people who try to take advantage just because they think their customers are ignorant, so I told him if the tire really was an issue for him, he could take it off, file and solder it, and it had be fine. And if he really had issue with delivering on a long holiday weekend, he should not have 5 other cars to deliver on the truck.
The company and their protocol get the 2 stars. The driver himself should get negative. (more)
