Review made Live: 8/14/2012 5:58:00 PM My first experience with shipping a car: I had researched and read about possible issues/ problems with shipping a car. I used a broker, Hilton, out of Torrance, CA. Nichole set me up with Star Fleet Trucking, based in Goshen, Indiana. I had requested a pick up date of asap. The next morning Jim called from Star Fleet; as he had a big rig and it could not be navigated through my neighborhood, my daughter dropped off her car at a meeting place near the freeway and he waited with her until her ride home arrived. Jim was timely, we had issues with car being delivered, (our fault), as we had to have a third party receive the car. Jim helped out in that respect as well. My price included broker fee. Subject : STAY AWAY FROM USING STI (SPECIALIZED TRANSPORTATION INC)

Stay away if possible from using the shipper STI for any of your delieveries. During a recent delivery the 3 drivers gauged a brand new deck when moving a hot tub in place after paying an additional fee for white glove service. When trying to work out a claim with the companies insurance broker (Zurich) there was not flexibilty. I would hate to see this happen to anyone else so check the company who is delivering your product and STAY AWAY FROM USING STI (SPECIALIZED TRANSPORTATION INC)  (more)

They set an expectation initially to carry out the process and then exceeded that expectation which gives immense satisfaction for us. Great Service.Hats off to the representatives. Everything went on smooth.  (more)
