McNutt Auto Transport Service - Review

This is the first time I have ever had to ship a vehicle. McNutt was the cheapest rate and friendly staff until.......They got my money and did not pick up the car. They claim weather and a wrech on Friday stopped them from making the pickup that was scheduled 2 days BEFORE the day of the bad weather and wreck. Hmmm, McNutt may be stupid but I am not, that story just does not add up. Oh, and they did not even bother to tell me that they were not delivering my car. No refund and no call. I had to call them the day of delivery to find out when they were coming (never). I will NEVER refer anyone to this company. Very bad business. I guess they decide to treat dealerships better than individuals.  (more)

I tried to schedule the pick up and delivery of a vehicle. The failure by McNutt to find a trucker was not communicated to me and I had to chase McNutt for information. Then, McNutt could not "find" a trucker for me, so I cancelled my order and went with another company and they had me scheduled within a few hours and delivered my vehicle in two days from pick up and three days ahead of schedule. What makes this even worse is that McNutt immediately charged my credit card for the full amount of the transport and took a week to refund my money. The customer service and practices of McNutt are not acceptable and I will not use them again. I am passing this along because I ship a fair number of vehicles and I am very active in the car community and I simply will not be able to recommend McNutt.  (more)

Late, unresponsive, poor customer service. We were told our vehicle would arrive "sometime" on Thursday. It never showed up. Same thing happened on Friday. We were told three different delivery times on Saturday and it eventually arrived later than all of those. Wasted almost three entire days waiting at home for vehicle to be delivered because no one could provide a window of time. Terrible. Look elsewhere for your vehicle delivery needs.  (more)

My wife is pregnant and newborn is expected someday after Aug 2nd, so we look for a carrier that can deliver the van on time. Van arrived earlier than expected (just 1 day) but considering we are going to have a baby time is important. We recommend Mc nut , we had a great experience. Thanks for the service!!!  (more)

This was one of the few good experiences that I have encountered with a shipping company. From start to finish, I was very happy. The service is excellent and the promise is good! They were excellent and I would recommend them any person who wants a vehicle delivered in a timely manners.  (more)
