Subject : Great Experience Moving My Car

I had a great experience moving my car. Clarence was very helpful in getting my car picked up on time. He explained to me how the bad weather conditions could make it a little longer to get a driver to me but he worked hard, as he assured me he would, and found a drive to get me my car in the time frame I needed. i would reccomend their service hands down to anyone moving their vehicle.  (more)

Subject : These People are Crooks!

Hired this company in February 2010 to ship a car from CA to my sister in NC and paid $1095 up front. Was sent an email by their rep that car was to be picked up between 2/9- and 2/10. Company was told car was broke down at a mechanic shop and could not sit as they don't provide storage and they said no prob and given dates above for pickup. Almost a month later, they still couldn't find a driver to ship and the mechanic put a lien on the car. The bank found out and picked up the car. I incurred a whole bunch of fees to get the car back and ultimately had to sell the car because of the extra fees I had to pay - I couldn't afford to have the car fixed by my brother-in-law anymore because of all the fees due to Global's negligence. When the car was picked up at the mechanic shop, I cancelled the shipment with Global and miraculously the next morning they send me an email where they have found a driver and to contact them and let them know if I still wanted them to transport so that "they could assign the driver the shipment". I told them no that I no longer had the car because they didn't pick it up in a timely manner and would never use their company again. Their dispatcher sent me and my sister a form to fill out to process a refund and several weeks later I receive an email that I am not entitled to a refund because "Global does not guarantee a specific pickup date and once a driver is assigned they are entitled to all monies paid". No driver was ever assigned to this transport. Since I live in PST and my sister and Global are both EST I contacted them and told them that she had authorization to handle this for me as she would be sending them the emails proving that I did have a specific pickup date and that no driver was assigned. They threatened her and told her she was to cease and desist all contact. Once you hire them ALL customer service issues are all done thru email which they never respond. You sit on the phone for hours at a time just for them to tell you to email them. They are doing this to consumers all over the world and ripoffreport.com and transportreviews.com shows how they are stealing money from consumers in the same way they did to me. They have a BBB rating of F and also use the name Global Relogistics Inc and now Auto Shipping Network. I am very difficult to reach on the #209 phone number but my sister at the #706 number has all of my information and all of the emails back and forth. I sent a letter to headquarters (no reply). They are making thousands of dollars off of people and not providing a service or a product. Yeah I'm sure some transports go smooth but those of us that cannot afford an attorney and can barely scrape up enough money to hire them to begin with are victimized by these people so I hope someone will see this complaint and investigate them and put them out of business!!  (more)

Subject : Cheaters

My lifes worst experience dealing with this compnay. I still can not believe they are operating in the US. Had to make a move from Ohio to Texas. Thought planned everything alright. Searched them on the internet and signed a contract and paid them 50% at the time of booking and remaining 50% at the time of drop in 8 days. Once I paid the deposit money, service level changed right there. The people showing up at home to pick up demanded balance money "AFTER" they picked my household. when indicated that contract said balance 50% upon delivery, they said "we just contractors we don't know what you have signed with whoever. Our terms are that we receive upfront leaving up to $200 for the time of delivery". Move (to a new destination more than 100 mile away with family and children) is a big thing, you think everything is arranged properly and you have deal with this situation when all household is loaded on the truck and you have to catch a flight in few hours, it was very stressfull. When arrived at Texas, and contacted the company about the household, they said they will track the shipment and should call at the 3:00PM. At 3:00PM call, was told that it scheduled for next day delivery. Next day came and gone and no-one showed up. Contacted them again and same drill i.e. call at 3:00PM, when called I was told, it is coming in a day. Nevery did. After about 12 days, I demanded for a supervisor and he told that for such a long distance move, they don't deliver before 15 working days (i.e. 3 weeks). When asked about the promises they front office has been making he could not justify them apart from saying that "they don't have access to correct information that is why they mislead you". I had to engage an attorney to talk to them in their language. Well that did help, but when household arrived, it was crammed in the truck so badly so accomodate 3-4 deliveries that it damaged some stuff. Few things were missing. When spoke to them about the lossess they said I can file an insurance (which I paid for). Made notes on the receiving documents of damages and missing items and let the driver go. Contacted the company about the insurance claim the "so called" manager tried to convince me that it is of no use. When told him that I will engage an attorney again if they did not respond, he said "Look you are busy person why you want to waste your time and energies on such a thing". Take home message, find a local mover and check their referrences before dealing with any mover. You want this experience to be least stressed and a good mover can take some of it away.  (more)

Subject : Overall, good experience

After speaking with several brokers and companies, Global Relogistics has the highest rating in customer service and I selected them. I utterly love my cars and am very careful when it comes to shipping them across the country. The experience of moving my vehicle with domestic is pretty good, very proactive communication and polite. The price they quote was reasonable. Car arrived on and delivered on time as promised. They were prompt in answering my questions. Global Relogistics customer service was great. You guys are the best!  (more)
