Kim helped me move two cars from California to Texas. The first car I had transported, the seller wasnot being very helpful and Kim spent a lot of time on the phone and worked it all out. Both cars arrived in good condition and no surprises. When I needed a carrier the second time I called Kim at Domestic Auto Transport as well.  (more)

Subject : worst service

Naomi Denham at domestic auto transport inc was one of the worst people I have ever dealt with, nothing in writing, never remembered our conversations and then blamed everything on me. Wasted a week of my time with nothing accomplished. Beware and do not use them.  (more)

Subject : bad experience

Too bad I have to give this company any star because they are awful and deceitful. They will sweet talk you initially to get your business. We were quoted 455 for our transport. After speaking on the phone with them and specifically asking if there is any possible way that it would cost more than what was quoted we were told definitely not. In fact we were told our company would never do that to anyone. As soon as our car was picked up we got an email saying the price is now 895 What a joke and dishonest company. How can you say the price will definitely not go up and them almost double it. They of course are no longer answering or returning calls. The driver of the truck says its not his problem to call the broker company. Will never do business with them again.  (more)

Subject : great service

I highly recommend them!: I was moving from New York to Washington and needed transport services for my sport bike to my new home. Gauging from the condition of the bike when it was delivered, I could easily tell that Domestic Auto Transport did a great job of ensuring that the bike was well protected throughout the trip  (more)

Subject : Kim from domestic auto transport keep deleting my review

I chose Kim because of previous reviews but had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE DEALING WITH HER and the transporter company XXX. She said there would be no problem finding a driver for me but unfortunately this was not the truth: I had to keep calling her to get updates. Finally two days before my expected pick up date she called me back and told me she found a transporter but the fee was $750... didn’t she give me a quote of $632 earlier? Not sure if she was charged extra from the transporter or simply decided to charge me more because I have no other option but using her as the broker!! I negotiated the fee down to $700. If I had had time, I would definitely find a different broker. The transport company picked up my car on Monday and promised me it would be delivered Thursday before 10am. I called the driver Tuesday and Wednesday for follow-up because I have a job interview Thursday afternoon and was told the same story: car would be delivered on time. Wednesday afternoon I received a call from the transport company saying my car wouldn’t be delivered until Thursday 4-6pm. I called Kim and asked her to contact the transporter on behalf of me but she basically tried to stay out of this and told me IT'S NONE OF HER BUSINESS, I SHOULD TALK TO THE TRANSPORTER DIRECTLY AND HUNG UP on me. I ended up cancelling my interview. Kim and her company may have provided good service in the past; but when something goes wrong, she doesn't want to get involved AT ALL and to me, THIS IS THE KIND OF COMPANY YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO DO BUSINESS FOR SECOND TIME. I’m leaving feedback here to make sure future customer THINK TWICE before you choose domestic auto transport  (more)

Subject : Scam

After sorting through many bids, I chose to go with Darlene at Domestic Auto Transport. I was then emailed an order confirmation, terms and conditions agreement that I confirmed and agreed to. My rep Darlene, said the motorcycle is usually picked up with in 96 hrs' of the acceptance of the agreement. That was on 5/03/11. After calling her over the course of two weeks and her giving me different and vague reason as to why my motorcycle had not been picked up on 5/16/11 she tells me that the bike will not be picked up and delivered for the price she originally quoted me and that if I wanted it delivered I would have to pay her more money. In the meantime I had hotel reservations for a bike rally I intended to take the bike to. So, now I'm out the bike and the money for my reservations. I then emailed a letter of complaint to the Pres. of Domestic Auto Transport, Sheila Paquette via Facebook hoping for some kind of response...only to find out I had been blocked by them the next day. Buyer beware the majority of these transport companies are sister companies to Domestic Auto Transport. They will give you a low quote, vague promises and offer you an additional discount if you go online and give them a favorable review. That's why you see a lot of these companies boasting a 5 star review... they're not legit. They are reviews from people trying to get a discount. Don't be surprised if you see some kind of expose on TV coming up about these scam artist.  (more)

Subject : Very Refreshing

Let me say upfront I cancelled this order with Domestic because I had an offer on my vehicle I couldn't refuse. If it had not been for that I would have gone through with the transport. Dealing with Sheila P was very refreshing to say the very least. She is up front and honest to a fault. Even when I told her an issue might be a deal breaker she said " Well I would be sorry not to earn your business but I will not tell lies or make promise to get your business" This simple statement took me back. While everyone from the many other companies were promising me the world and pushing me to get my transport booked Sheila simply let me go at my own pace. She did ask several times if I was ready to get the ball rolling but when I said I needed a bit more time she let it be. I have no doubt had I continued with this transport all would have been wonderful. Sheila and Domestic just give you that piece of mind. If I ever have the need to transport I will call Domestic and definitely request to work with Sheila. Thanks Domestic for leaving me with warm and fuzzy feelings.  (more)

Subject : DO NOT USE!!

We used this company to ship my car from Cleveland, Ohio to Atlanta, GA in August 2010. When the car arrived at the destination, they called me and said the amount of money due to the truck driver had changed. This last minute price switcheroo caused huge problems for me. Then, I filled out the online rebate form for $50. They sent me the $50 rebate check and THE CHECK BOUNCED!!!I got charged bank fees for this, and called the company to complain. They sent me two more $50 checks, one for the original rebate and one for the bank fees. ONE OF THESE CHECKS BOUNCED, TOO, and I got more bank fees. It has been almost two months since I called to complain. They are giving me the run around, their general manager Sheila does not return phone calls, they give me attitude when I call, and they keep telling me the replacement check is in the mail. It has been almost two months and nothing. What kind of company writes bad checks to its customers and does not fix the issue promptly???? BAD BUSINESS!! This company got my business, ripped me off, and now is leaving me in the lurch. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!  (more)

They never sent me a contract, told a prie=ce, made me file a claim against another company that was going to take my car for the agreed price and charged me 300 more than I had agreed, and i ended up being ripped off, because I needed my car.......they make promises they cannot keep  (more)

Absolutely outstanding service. The concern went out of the way to secure timely transportation and delivery. Car was picked up within two days of my signing a contract and delivered so soon that is beyond my expectations. They followed-up to insure that the car was delivered on time due to a very short delivery window. Car was delivered in perfect shape by a driver who was not only knowledgeable and courteous, but also kept us informed of the time and date of the prospective delivery. I have used two other in the past, and never previously experienced service of this quality. I do not think that you can get something better than this. These are great people to deal with.  (more)

Subject : Excellent Experience

Not knowing the business, I filled out a few applications online and received calls/emails/texts from over 15 dissimilar companies. After I filled out the form, I contacted Domestic because they had very high-quality reviews on this website. As soon as I emailed with Holly and spoke to her temporarily, I realized the mistake I made, filling out that online form. I incessantly needed to tell these other annoying companies that I found a company that I liked and plan to work with. Holly was outstanding in returning messages via e-mail and very friendly on the phone. She explained that my offer was a bit low for the latest city, but we could wait to see if there were any bites. Thank you once more Holly and Domestic. My car arrived securely without any problems.  (more)
