CD Auto Transport - Review

I HIGHLY recommend these folks based on my experience with them. Although it might be strange that I didnot have a contract for shipment, they were available, ready for immediate transport, AND PATIENT as I waited for a competitor to get out from under their lies and delays. Their competitor even made a 3-way call with me on the line to try and force them out of the competition. The competitor was rude to the CD Transport employee making false accusations regarding my status with CD. As a result of my many phone calls with Dwayne and his compassion and business professionalism, I stand by them with a strong and sincere recommendation to use CD Transport. Conversely I would NOT recommend their competitor - Elite Auto Carriers of Bronx N.Y.  (more)

I highly recommend this business- originally I had chosen not to go with CV Auto Transport because I got a cheaper offer (Van 3 Auto Transport) which was ultimately a disastrous choice. On the pickup day with Van 3, they canceled the transport. In a panic I started called other companies. Chris was extremely responsive, very transparent, and took a lot of time trying to find an expedited same day pick up. He did find a solution, and I am very grateful for his help. l regret not working with CV Auto Transport to begin with, and I highly recommend working with them if you need your car shipped.  (more)

A month before I had to move I made the horrible mistake and booked with Road Runner Auto Transport. I ALWAYS go to Yelp and the one time to just searched google it bit me in the ass. 4 days passed after my car was supposed to be picked up and still... nothing. On day 5, I called Chris at Cd Auto Transport. He was nice enough to explain to me what Road Runner did not and informed me the reason no one has agreed to take my car is that I was all the way on the east end of long island. Had I known I had to meet somewhere in the middle, it would have not been a problem. Road Runner did not tell me any of this and did not try and help me when I explained the issue. All was lost... until I called Chris at Cd Chris was there. He explained everything and got my car picked up within 48 hrs and arriving on the same day I arrive in California. He runs the business and also is the one who answers the phone and your questions. He is prompt to return missed calls and he is patient with any and all questions. I could not recommend Cd any higher and if you are moving anywhere and need your car shipped, call Chris!  (more)

This is an honest review from a customer who was a victim of these two idiotic, losers. Charles literally wasted my time 3 weeks without ansering calls, if they one of them answers they have an excuse for you all the time. Just one word. Get rid of these guyz from business, you are just wasting our time.  (more)

I made the mistake of not asking which monday or tuesday they would call and tell me that they had scheduled a pick up. I know that the vehicle was not on the main lines of travel but 4 weeks was enough for me to get a trailer and pick it up myself. U-haul was awesome. Much better than waiting weeks for no word from CD. They never called back. I always had to call them for info. Dewayne and Charles let me down. On my way up to Massena i talked to two truckers that said they would have picked up the car but were unaware of the situation. The second truck had four empty spaces on his hauler and was headed past my place to another stop in West Virginia. So why was it so hard to find someone to pick up my car??????  (more)

When our car wasn't picked up on the day scheduled, we had to call them to learn it was pushed back 2 days. Then, when it wasn't picked up again, we had to contact them again, only to find out the driver missed the pick-up by 200 miles and refused to go back. Another 8 days later, it was finally picked up. We then had 1 hour notice it was being delivered and we had to be there with cash to get the car. Horrible experience.  (more)

This company was absolutely worth contracting with. Not only was it the most affordable, they were pleasant, knoweldgable and on time. possibly only negative experiences are written by people so I had to write that this company was outstanding! CD Auto is great.  (more)
