Allied Automotive Group - Review

This guy has 5 star reviews for a reason. He is THE BEST MECHANIC in Washington. We were on a 1000 mile road trip and had a wheel bearing go out in our Yukon Denali on a weekend. We rented a van to continue our trip, and on faith, left our suv in his parking lot. First thing Monday morning he called me, had already contacted our warranty company, approved the repair, had the parts and said it would be done in a few hours. The next day when we came back through town he stayed late to meet us and get us back on the road. Everything was reasonably priced, and real honest work. I wish there was a mechanic like this where we lived. We were really in a bind and he took care of everything. He deserves your business 100%. Nice work.  (more)

I was referred to Dave from my Grandpa, who has brought his cars to Dave for many years and clearly thinks the world of Dave. My car had started making a noise during ignition several months ago, mostly when starting from cold. I dropped the car off at around 8 am and explained to him what I had been hearing. He said he would take a look a couple hours when the car had time to cool off. He called me a few hours later, saying that he had heard the noise but it was too short to identify and that I should monitor it for now until the noise worsens. I appreciate his honesty in not trying to fix it when it was not fully diagnose-able and his willingness to take a look as a courtesy. I have not had any additional problems with the car but he has certainly earned my trust, and I will return when something comes up.  (more)
