Review Description

I was referred to Dave from my Grandpa, who has brought his cars to Dave for many years and clearly thinks the world of Dave. My car had started making a noise during ignition several months ago, mostly when starting from cold. I dropped the car off at around 8 am and explained to him what I had been hearing. He said he would take a look a couple hours when the car had time to cool off. He called me a few hours later, saying that he had heard the noise but it was too short to identify and that I should monitor it for now until the noise worsens. I appreciate his honesty in not trying to fix it when it was not fully diagnose-able and his willingness to take a look as a courtesy. I have not had any additional problems with the car but he has certainly earned my trust, and I will return when something comes up.
