Dan from 1Flat-Rate.com was tremendously helpful in coordinating transfer of our SUV and sedan from the Washington, DC metropolitan area to Portland, OR. We had little time to waste and relied on Dan to come through on time and on budget. The driver arrived within an hour of the expected pickup to load the cars and called intermittingly over the course of his cross-country journey to provide us status updates. He completed the trek during the winter months across some of the most unforgiving frozen tundra in the US. He delivered the cars a day early and greeted us with a smile. We are 110% satisfied with Dans service and that of the driver. My husband and I would highly recommend 1Flat-Rate, LLC for any auto transport needs.  (more)

This was my first time shipping a car, i was freaking out with the reviews and articles on the web. I called 1Flatrate, Brenda took her time and explained the whole process to me:how they will post the bid on the board and that she will inform me as soon as he got a company to pick up with in the 7 days time frame I gave her. She also picked up the phone every time I called with extra questions,she was always very polite and attentive.There was no money upfront. They arranged the pick up of a car which was supposed to be pick up after an inspection. This was agreed by all parties. They ignored all the emails and went ahead and had the car picked anyway without inspection. The order was on hold by this was ignored. So now there is a car on the way which shouldnt have been transported but the only response they give me is to pay up. A bunch of gangsters is what they are. Just go without this broker company and go direct to the shipper. The shipping company was upset as well the way 1flatrate is doing business. Just stay clear!  (more)
