GOLDEN GATE MOVING CO - Review

They picked up the piano from Lincoln on the day that they promised and delivered it the next day to our home in Palo Alto. When they moved the piano into the house, they rested it on top of the rails of our sliding glass door. When we pointed this out to them, they at first denied it. After we persisted and even tried to hand the movers their dolly to help them get it off of the rails, they refused the dolly and responded with, "Please just let us move the piano." After this, they then asked us to sign a release saying that there was no damage to the piano or house. When we refused, they became more agitated and would not leave until they talked to their manager. We expected much more professionalism from a moving company than what we received. The price was in line with other moving companies, but the service was below expectations.  (more)

We were super pleased with the moving services provided - we needed to move a piano from San Francisco to a home in the East Bay. The communication from the office was superb, the price was competitive, and the crew that handled the move was great. They were flexible in terms of timing, and took wonderful care of the instrument. Well done and thanks.  (more)
