Capital City Movers NYC - Review

This co is hella sketch. They break my tings, but later when I dug in to them i also found they owe the city of New York thousands of dollars in unpaid fines and tickets. They dont even show up to the court cases and seem to dodge law enforcement. See summons 000746095K, 000677292N, 000422176L on NYC OATH. The DOT and MC numbers on their website are also not real. They hide the real numbers so you cannot report them. Ay papi they so bad.  (more)

They exceeded our expectations in every way. When searching for a Co. to move from NY to MD, we were hesitant at first about how to choose because we had had some bad experiences before and wanted to make sure this time, we chose the right Movers. We used Yelp to choose, and we were very satisfied with Capital City Movers. Vlad, their Relocation Consultant, was knowledgeable, responding to queries late at night and on weekends and made the entire process smooth and impeccable. He even matched our cheapest offer. The movers showed up on time, wrapped and moved our furniture seamlessly, travelled from NY to MD and delivered everything where it should go with care and competence. They were hard-working, courteous, and careful. I do not usually write reviews, but I really wanted to do it this time because of how satisfied we were with the entire process. I highly recommend them, do not hesitate, and take it from someone who has moved a dozen times in my career.  (more)
