Big Discount Auto Movers - Review

I contracted with Big Discount to transport my sons truck from Challis,ID to Chandler, AZ. First they could not find a driver that would pick up the truck for the quoted amount, I agreed to increase the quote by $100. It still took a total of about two weeks to find a driver. A day was setup for the trcuk to be picked up, but that day went by. My son called the driver and was informed that the transport trcuk had broken down in Washington State. The driver gave no ETA and no communication from Big Discount with an ETA, in fact when I contacted Big Discount, all I got was once the transporter is contracted, Big Discount has nothing to do with the process. I disagree. I contracted with them to act as my agent and in my opinion they did not. I will tell you that they did refund my $100 deposit, but only after I reported them to the BBB. I feel that they are an honest company and mean well, but in my case they under quoted the price by not knowing exactly how remote and difficult it would be to pickup the truck. I agreed to the increase in price because that put the price inline with other quotes.  (more)

This company is very professional. They have great prices. - have used them twice and must say they were very prompt and reliable. Great Customer Service. My car was picked up and delivered door to door.  (more)
