1 World Auto Movers - Review

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!!!! They have been a nightmare from the very beginning. We chose them to ship our vehicle from FL to Panama (the country), and they have overcharged us, have denied us customs information, shipped the vehicle a week late and did not notify us (after charging us $380.00 for fast shipment), so last week we get to the port of Manzanillo, and to our surprise.... NO CAR!!! Somebody needs to report these people to the BBB, so they cannot do business. Also, I plan to contact the DOT and Consumer protection agencies so these folks can be flagged. The car supposedly gets here on wednesday, luckily i figured out how to track my shipment on my own, and have confirmed arrival of the vehicle.  (more)

Robert Pointe was our representative and he said that all the reviews were just because of unhappy customers and when they deal with so many people its hard to make them all happy! He agreed to ship our container with no problem. When we showed up to ship our vehicle, they said that they had already shipped our container and there were no more containers going out for the next? we wasted money time and stress dealing with this company for more than a month with no returned emails, phone calls, nothing from anybody, especially RObert. We talked with Miranda.. also scam artist and Sabrina!!! nobody at that company has any pull and if you already put a deposit down dispute it in your credit card bill!!! Sorry but this company is a complete headache!and a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME  (more)

I shipped my vehicle with 1 world auto movers (their parent company is TAU Logistics) and regrett it everyday. They claim my vehicle was delivered to the Port of Miami and customs problems delayed shipment. After several unanswered emails and voice messages they finally stated the vehicle would be shipped to Germany. That was three months ago. I contacted the Port of Miami customs holding area and they had no record of my vehicle anywhere. When my isurance company contacted them, 1 world claimed they only provided me an estimate not shipment. The insurance company had a copy of my cashed check and when they informed 1 World of this, they hung up. Do not fall for these scam artists. Check their Better Business Bureu rating if you want the reall truth about them.  (more)

Sabrina Kims lied about my move and cost me $200! I asked if there was a fuel surchage and was told no. The small print of the contract said there was. I had given a $200 deposit and even though I can cancelled my move less than 12 hours after talking to her and 3 days before my move! They are unethical and immoral! Spend your money elsewhere and save yourself the headache!  (more)

This company is a complete scam. My vehicle was never delivered to Germany and now they will not respond to my requests for information. I got burnt but hopefully you will not. Stay away from 1 World Auto Movers and Tau Logistics (parent company). I am currently in the process of pursueing legal actions against the company. Totally untrustworthy.  (more)

Rich at 1 World Auto Movers was very expert. I was uncertain at first because of a low BBB review, however it proved to be a fault and they got it taken care of quickly. I really have no complaints at all.  (more)
