Henry review for DIY Transport Inc

Review Description

I was making arrangements to have a car shipped for a family member from Houston to the SF Bay area. Robert from DIY had asked for my credit card and told me there would be TWO charges to my card. One to hold the shipping order and the balance would be paid/charged later when the vehicle was delivered. When the actual shipper picked the car they asked for a cash payment which I was never notified of by DIY. I was expecting all charges to go on the credit card. I had to visit the Wells Fargo bank on Tuesday, day of deliver to make the payment. Need more transparency on DIY side. Also, we agreed to have the car shipped on Monday and the shipper showed up on Saturday evening. After pushing back we agreed to have the car picked up on Sunday morning. overall not a good customer experience for a company that is rated 5 stars and supposedly military friendly. There should be more transparency.
