Verrazano Moving and Storage Staten Island - Review

These guys were great with our move. Friendly, on time, very helpful, hard working and careful. The only thing I will say is not all boxes were placed in the correct spot and all were clearly labeled. For example, some boxes that were labeled "2nd fl living room" we are left in the basement and so on. Needless to say this was a pain for us because we could not find things and had to lift heavy boxes up one or two flights (their job). Tried using these movers when my husband and I were moving. Let me just say that there is no way this place can actually be a real business. They do not return phone calls, they quote you a different price in person, then they send a totally different price handwritten on a piece of paper in the mail 2 weeks later. Paper was not only illegible but it had things on it that I never asked to be moved. It was like they wanted you to beg them to move your stuff. Had to contact them 4 times before I actually got someone to my house to even give the quote. Horrible, thank goodness I used a different company.  (more)
