United Road Services - Review

I had no transport show for three vehicles. Rep lied and never had a carrier assigned. Had to drive one vehicle myself at last minute over 1500 miles. They tried to say it was the rep. The supervisor Mary said she would put her best rep on the remaining load of two vehicles. Never received a quote Worst lack of any kind of integrity. The company is not reliable IMO at ALL. With all the caveats, warnings / reviews on line about other carriers, we were very pleasantly surprised that United Road did exactly what they said they would. The car was picked up within 3 days of the target date (early) and delivered three days before our "no later than date". I was particularly concerned when I read the horror stories of other carriers so I went with the moderaltely more expensive (1200 versus the cheapest at 950) and would do it again. The customer service person had me fill out the paperwork and lock in the dates we wanted and then assured us (not in writing) that they could handle the request. Sure enough, they did. I have used United Road many times, and to be honest they're the only company I consider when I have a vehicle to relocate. Brock Smith has been the most helpful and shipping dates have been as close to estimated times as any shipper I have used. Brock will be honest about the move, whether it's info you want to hear, or in his case, the true facts about relocating your vehicle. United Road has done it's level best to deliver as close to or before the promised date. Give United Road just one oppertunity to show you that they're the company to handle your favorite vehicle, or one that you've just bought. They will come through with satisfaction on time and make a safe delivery of your cherished auto.
