Q Auto Transport - Review

I was pretty nervous in selecting a company to ship my car from California to New York, and a friend recommended Q Auto Transport ass they used them in the past. They gave me a competitive price and I booked my reservation with them without the need to pay a deposit upfront like other companies wanted me to pay. Around the pick up date of my vehicle, they called and emailed me the carrier information. The drive called me ahead of time when picking up the vehicle, and he was very professional and courteous when he showed up. The vehicle arrived at destination two days earlier then scheduled which was nice. I highly recommend this company and will definitely used them again when I need to ship my car  (more)

one of my flatmate moved from Glendale , California to Michigan,Wixom last November and I got the reference from him and connected Q Auto. The response was prompt and finalized the quote and settled for 800$. My friend shipped the car for $650 in last November and i inquired for it but i was told that, there is new emission law in California where the trucks older than 2010 model are not allowed in California state and thus the price have gone up.I am not sure its correct or wrong but i had to ship my car ASAP and accepted the amount.The car was picked up on Friday afternoon as informed and received the car at 11 AM om Monday at Michigan ,south filed. The driver was good to come to my office and drop the car instead of home where i asked for.The service was good and prompt and the car was clean other than usual open top travel dirt. unexpected early drop compelled me to write their service and the customer care executive Mary was very helpful and answered the call at odd hours as well.Good service and I am happy with the service.(Quite confused on the California emission law though :-P)  (more)

We booked this company to ship FOUR cars from California to Florida. Originally the first shipment for the first two cars came 2 days earlier than planned and it was very difficult to reschedule. Once they were able to reschedule, the pick up of the first set of cars was THREE days late. I was told that the driver would call me once they had get close to our home. I waited and waited and waited for three days. McKayla at the dispatch center was very helpful and professional. She answered all of my calls and had great communication with me. She was having a difficult time finding drivers traveling to Florida but she was able to do it, unfortunately the drivers were not as pleasant, she even connected me with one of the owners of the shipping company. I must say, they did deliver my first set of cars safely and within the first estimated time of arrival. My second set of two cars was definitely a better experience.Right on point. Would I ever ship with them again? Hard to tell, based on my second shipment I probably would.  (more)

Sounded great when setting everything up. After I signed contract it all went wrong. Pick up was a day and a half late. Delivery was scheduled for 29 Dec, delivery took place on 8 Jan. Turn out Q Auto told the truck driver that I was "OK with late delivery" and they never checked with me. Find a different company, do not trust Q Auto with your car!  (more)

143 extra miles and the side was scratched as though a mad girlfriend keyed my car. Now this company will not return any of my calls and I don't know why.  (more)

Stating on January 02, 2014 and until today January 31, 2014 car is not delivered. Pickup was in Michigan and delivery should have been in state of Washington. I made many, many telephone calls and each time was promised different things. However, each one of those promises turnout to be a lie. Q Auto Transport is very good of not following through. Frank contacted me May 14 in regards to a transport that I needed to have done. We spoke briefly in regards to his services and price. It took me a couple weeks to go though all of the quotes that I had received. I have to say Frank's professionalism is what had me. Compared to the other people I spoke with made no sense and did not sounds professional at all. Frank made me feel comfortable and kept me up to date on the transport from pick up to delivery.
