: Late Pickup And Slow Customer Service
Initially A2B transport (Broker) hooked me up with JDB transport (carrier) to pick up my car from NC. However, they reported (2 days before pickup date) that the driver had gotten ill and was 3 days behind schedule. Thus, my initial date of pick up of Wednesday was suddenly moved back. So i had to run all sorts of errands and rearrangements to offset this delay. Finally JDB transport did arrive on the Sunday, and the Driver Dave, was a wonderful driver who got in contact with me as he arrived in to my city. We met at a mall parking lot and he drove me back to my residence before loading my car onto his truck and on its way to Washington State.
The car arrived about 8 days later and I was very impressed with the transit time as he mentioned he had to be in Washington State for another drop off within 7-8 days. The car arrived dirty as expected. No visible damage to my car and Dave was nice enough to drive my car to my residence in Washington as the roads near my house were too narrow for his truck to go into.
the problem i had with JDB transport is the support personnel over the phone. He is slow to respond at times when I had tried calling to get in contact with thier company (ie. 4-5 times per day without return of call)...and it wasnt until I placed a message stating that if no response was given by such and such date, then I would be looking else for another carrier. Funny enough, is that i got a call back within 1 hour after leaving such message. In addition, the support person at times make false promises with regards to calling at a specific time or providing more information on logistics.
I think if it wasnt for the driver Dave, I wouldnt have considered doing business with JDB transport again. (more)
