Cougar Auto Transport - Review

I transported my car from Kansas City to San Diego with John Hitchcock, the owner of Cougar Auto Transport. I used a broker to put me in touch with them and since they are 150 miles away from me, I would never have been able to find out about Cougar. I am sure glad that I did! I must admit that I was very apprehensive about shipping a car 1,650 miles and did have a lot of questions concerning timing (both pickup and drop off), safety, communication, insurance, etc. I know I had more questions than the normal person.  (more)

After being a couple of weeks late vehicle arrived damaged. Damaged so much that they couldn't even get it off the truck and had to leave. They returned again and had to pry the car off with a crowbar transmission hanging lights broken and they denied it all the way. Their insurance coverage is a $2500 deductible so you will eat it because they'll deny it. I had to report them to the state Atty. Gen. the Better Business Bureau and ripoff report.com. They found every excuse in the book why they couldn't make delivery on time just to deliver a damaged vehicle. I think the driver was a metastatic by the way he was sweating and eyes were dilated at delivery.  (more)
