CLR Auto Transport - Review

Horrible company. I worked for them many years ago. They bounced checks refused to pay me based on receipts that faxed them. I worked for them as an auto transport driver. I got to see parts of the country but I paid more out of my own pocket then they paid me. I am surprised the company still operates As a driver they would say they would only pay every other day for hotel rooms. They would tell me to simply sleep at a truck stop drivers area when I was tired. Really That was very unsafe. They did buy me a monthly bus pass big deal. Also gave me a fleet gas car to fuel the car I was transporting to the client. One of the tasks was to get the company car that I was driving to the client cleaned. One time in Texas they sent me to a very sketchy neighbor hood. I was pretty concerned. Bad people and company. Do not work or hire them  (more)

I worked for CLR in Merrillville, Indiana and much to my dismay learned early-on the owner/operators are nothing but con artists. They played a "shell game" with me concerning payment for jobs completed almost two months prior, and re-paying me for big "errors" (all in their favor) on prior paychecks. They contended my paperwork was "lost" in the mail (and they also lost the tracking info), so they couldn't pay me (nor give me a status of my lost paperwork). When I refused to take more jobs until I was paid, they received the paperwork back in the mail that very day! (Amazing, isn't it?!) They refused to provide the tracking info to verify their story, and to this day, I've never been paid (thousand of dollars owed)! They owe me for almost two months work, 23 Jobs! DO NOT WORK FOR OR DO BUSINESS WITH CLR AUTO TRANSPORT.  (more)
