Yellow Jacket Express

The Yellow Jacket Express is an innovative and convenient way to get around campus. It is a free shuttle service that runs throughout the day and night and connects the Georgia Tech campus to downtown Atlanta. The Yellow Jacket Express is available to all students, faculty, and staff of Georgia Tech.

The Yellow Jacket Express runs from 6:00am to 1:00am Monday through Friday and from 8:00am to 1:00am on Saturday and Sunday. During peak hours, the shuttles run every 15 minutes and during off-peak hours, they run every 30 minutes. The Yellow Jacket Express operates on a loop route that stops at all Georgia Tech residence halls, the Student Center, the Technology Square area, and various locations throughout downtown Atlanta.

The shuttle is equipped with free Wi-Fi, and each shuttle has the capacity to fit up to 25 people. The shuttles are also wheelchair accessible and are staffed with friendly drivers who are available to answer any questions and provide assistance. In addition, the Yellow Jacket Express also offers a mobile app that allows riders to track the location of the shuttles and plan their trips accordingly.
