Ward Dempsey review for United Auto Carriers

Review Description

We contracted United Auto Carriers to move two vehicles from Maine to Texas. They gave the contract to a New England based company. Both vehicles (a late model Ford SUV and a vintage Mercedes 450SL) sustained modest damage in the move. The Ford was driven into low hanging tree branches and the hood was scuffed/scratched consdierably and the MB had a large paint chip from the hold down chains on one wheel well. Both companies assured me the damage would be repaired on their account. Really tried hard to keep the cost down on the repairs but got the run around from both companies and never saw a penny in reimbursement. We had paid a premium for insurance for the move as well. Both companies have BBB F raitings so I guess I should not be surprised and I have my brother in law to thank for the selection of them.
