S. Birnbaum review for US Auto Transport and Logistics

Review Description

Folks: You will start seeing reviews on this particular company based out of Pompano, FL. I was going to use them but did not. It initially boiled down into a frustrating communication problem and evolved from there. Mike wanted me to pass on word about them using google 1 and I didn't because I had not rec'd the bike and I have issues with google and their tracking. I actually wrote the first review about this company on a different website that Mike or the other guy recommended I use. I wrote the review. It was not good. It was removed by someone (I saw the email sent from my ISP account). I was shown not only an email that I didn't write but it had more data in it. On that same day, Mike (referenced in the first review on this website) called my home a number of times within 30 mins. After I wrote the review, I went for a bike ride. My partner finally answered the phone and Mike yelled at her because I (not her) gave them a poor review. She didn't know what hit her and had nothing to do with my review. I knew it was poor and wanted to ensure I didn't say anything that wasn't true in it. I re-read it. It was 99% accurate. One sentence only was a bit vague. I took my time to email the other review site to ask them to clarify it. When I learned from that site my ISP had been hacked, I rewrote the review based - not actually on what transpired causing me to not use them, but on what happened with Mike calling home and yelling at someone in my family. Coincidentally, my ID was hacked and I kept getting locked out. I can't say it was this company but I can say the other website confirmed the request to remove my review came from the same location as another nice 5 star review and they both happened to have the same internet protocol address and both were in FL. I live in Asheville, NC and my IP address indicates that. Mike may say they had to keep adjusting to what I needed. He did to me. It was simple: the bike could not be delivered two days the following week. I had an initial quote for an open carrier and asked it be sent enclosed. Seems simple too. The problem I never received a quote for that and I was keeping track of both - I should say "trying" (I asked other companies for open then changed my mind and asked for closed and rec'd a quote). Their bad - they're the professions (who yell at people?) and didn't send the new quote. And, I take some ownership for it because when they didn't send a quote I could've asked for it but did not. I was in shock when I heard the new quote and ended my using them. I did have another company pick up my bike and got it here without any problems whatsoever. I'm adding this review knowing things may re-escalate or continue. I will ask this website if they get a note asking the review come down, they contact me (as I sent them an private email earlier). Just confirm I'm really making the request :) . Mike and the other guy at the broker company sounded nice but the reality is ... well, read this review and you folks figure it out. Use them at your own risk. I'm expecting more positive reviews by them. I will not be among them. This website does say, "Ever dealt with any moving or shipping company? Do you wish to share your views on any such companies? Then go ahead and write down. Through some way, it would be helpful for others." I hope you allow my review to remain.
