They did 8K, yes Thousand dollars damage to the car. After it arrived at the destination, where once it is on the ground it is our car, we saw the amount of damage was done to the car, we called their office just to see how to handle the insurance claim. While we were on the phone with dispatch, the driver called on his cell and they told him to put the car back on the transporter and take off. I forgot to mention as they were backing it off the carrier they slammed the door on their hydrolic cylinders, in front of witnesses, so we reported it stolen, however the driver kept the paperwork so, it technically wasn't stolen. They were stopped in PA, right over the border, and since they still had the paperwork, they took the car to NJ storage facility, so I would have to pay an additional $100 per day storage. would not tell us where it was and I had to overnight the check to them or I would not know where the car was. When they delivered the car it was on the top front of the carrier, same when they took it, when I got the car the only gear in the transmission that worked was reverse. I would never ever recommend this company. I contract with them, but they subcontracted to two other carriers before I got the car back. It cost me $1200 + all the damage.
