Review Description

Our 5th wheel was scheduled to be picked up on Tuesday. Driver's vehicle broke down 20 miles from us, he notified us at 7am. Company advised us they would get another driver by late morning. We had to make the decision for me to leave to take care of some business and my husband had to stay with the trailer until it was picked up. The original plan was for my husband to drive on to the destination for delivery on Wednesday, then go to work on Thursday. Second driver was given our delivery information, but not our pickup location and information, so was sitting all night because he couldn't get his office on the phone. As a result, he did not arrive until late Wednesday afternoon, then couldn't drive more than a few hours because he had driven all day. I called Showroom Transport to talk to the individual I had been dealing with, "Ty", and asked him what had happened with the second driver causing him to be delayed by an entire day. I expected him to discuss the situation with me, but instead, I was shocked when he started yelling at me telling me he was going to "cancel our order". I told we did not want to cancel the order, we just wondered what was going on. Again, he started raving and saying that he was not going to have people mad at him, he was cancelling the transport right now. I finally said, look, we don't want to cancel...we just think you might want to talk to the sub company. I got off the phone as quickly as I could since I felt the man was being completely irrational. The second driver finally delivered the trailer on Friday, was very professional, and took care of our trailer. Honestly, I would use that driver again before I would use Showroom Transport. My husband ended up not being able to go to work until Monday, so lost 4 days of work instead of the 2 days we originally planned. Yes, I know "stuff" happens, and that's OK, but I expect people to be more professional about it. My real complaint with this company is not the price, or the driver and delivery....it is the way the man spoke to me on the phone. Completely irrational and unprofessional and I was quite taken aback by his demeanor.
