Review Description

I was driving eastbound on i-80, in the left lane. there was a semi far ahead holding up the left lane, but since my exit was coming up, i turned on my turn signal and got into the right lane. this semi suddenly decided to get into the right lane also. they turned on their turn signal and forced their way in. i had to go onto the shoulder and honked my horn at them continuously. they honked their horn back at me — acknowledging that they were running me off the road. at one point i was fully — all 4 wheels — on the shoulder. I immediately called 911, and was forwarded to iowa state patrol. i told them the license plate number and the company. the company is a foreign company, so when i call customer service, i cannot make out what they are saying. i called the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, left a message explaining what happened. this is one of the few times i have ever feared for my life while driving. and this incident was completely unprovoked no road rage nothing.
