Melissa review for IK Transportation

Review Description

The driver did his job well, although the inside of my car (where someone would put their hand inside above door frame) is stained. He did get my car from CA to NY in 7 days. HOWEVER -the dispatcher failed to mention some critical points. Like that my car would not being going to the city I requested but 2.5 hrs away. Then failed to mention that I had to meet the driver at the exact time he pulled into the city. I was given less than 12 hours notice to retrieve my car from him -in a random parking lot. When I informed him I could not get there at that time he said I had to pay another company to store my car for the day until I could get it. This was my only option so I set it up. After doing this the dispatcher rudely asked "well if you are doing it that way how do you plan on paying me?" I asked if he took credit cards. He responded "The contract states COD! If I have to take a cc I will charge you another 5%." IT was not my fault he did not deliver it to my door, but I am being charged $50 more in cc fees plus another $50 for the tow company to simply hold my car for 5 hours. One other thing I found odd was he answered the phone just saying hello...not "IK Transportation Inc." Overall VERY unprofessional!
