Highland contacted my daughter for pickup of car on the evening of 8/20and promised delivery of 8/21 , On 8/21 the my daughter called the driver to see what time the car would be delivered and the driver said that he was in Georgia and that the car would be delivered on 8/22 , after that conversation , on the 21st My daughter and I called several times the driver with no response, On 8/23 8/24 8/25 we continue to call and leave messages and no call back from the Driver, I then contacted Captain Mark with Honest Movers who contracted Highland on 8/25 no response from Driver or Highland Dispatcher, which was also contacted on 8/25, Now on 8/26/14 six days after delivery the driver calls back and the Highland Dispatcher (HQ) that said the truck broke down in Georgia last week 8/24/14 and that it will be put on a flat bed to be delivered. Note this was the first communication in 6days on the wherabout or what happen to the vehicle. On 8/27 Highland > finally tries to call my daughter, for the first time since the driver talked to her last week, 8 am in the morning she was not able to answer cause at this time she had an issue with the phone but was fixed by noon time the same day 8/27. Capt Mark with Honest movers call the Highland HQ and spoke with ALEX the dispatcher that stated since there was no communciation and week in delay she would take of 50dollars from $550 to $500 for delivery. So now the afternoon of 8/28 the vehicle arrives but not only did she not honor the discount she stated that it would be 50 more that the original quoate of $550 to $600dollars. I will never in my life contract Highland for anything, they are the worst no communication and charged more that the orginal contract . For all we knew we thought the car was stolen after no communications and was about to report it to the police department. > Thank you Capt Mark on your due diligence on helping me get the car without you it probable would of been another week or 2 before i got the car .
