Review Description
My wife and I left Fayetteville, NC and moved to Bryan, TX last month. We were able to pack everything and drive it down ourselves except for our Subaru. So we looked around and saw Corporate Auto Transport, their excellent score on BBB and put in our request for "standby". This review may sound similar to the other one-star reviews on here, but I am hoping it drives home the point. We got a call very quickly and Virginia, one of the phone reps, gave the low-down on how everything worked with getting a driver and getting it shipped in a timely manner. She assured me that the $550 dollar contract would push through quickly and that she had keep me updated often on progress. Feeling good about it, I handed over the $175 dollar fee for their services and from that point on, the calls never came. Two weeks pass, no call. I call and Virginia suggested I raise the contract price, so I did. Another week, no call. Ok, its been a month, what deal? I called back and pushed the issue. Virginia said the price was still good and that she would talk to her supervisor and call me back before close of business that day. No call (this was Friday and they are not open over the weekend). I call Monday and push the issue again, this time speaking to Jessica, the other phone rep. She said she did not "see anything on file" and would talk to her supervisor and call me back. No call! I needed my car weeks ago and have been trying to make it work but time was running out by now. I called back and told Jessica that I was formally terminating my contract because I could not wait anymore and that I wanted my refund. Of course, there is no refund and yes, it is in writing in the contract. I tell her that I am just going to buy a plane ticket and fly to NC and drive the 1200 miles back to TX and it would still be cheaper and faster! Her response: "Ooo, you can treat it like a vacation!" We have not heard from them since. No call to find out what happened, no follow up. Nothing.
