Avid contacted me after I entered contact information on a website that provided quotes for transporting cars. I gave a deposit on 12/6/2011 for a pick up of my car on Dec 26 or 27th. The week before my scheduled pick up, I tried to contact Kimberly at both numbers on the contract they e-mailed me. One number was never answered and the other number gave a recording that said the number was disconnected. I sent an e-mail which generated an automated reply that someone would get back with me. No one ever did. The week of pick up, I called both numbers and received an answering machine message stating someone would call me back. No one ever did. The e-mails were never responded to either By the day of the pick up, a carrier had not been assigned so I canceled the pick up per the contract via e-mail and phone. I never made contact with a real person either way and Avid never refunded me my deposit per the contract. I am trying to get my money back from my back as of this writing.
