Review Description
Unfortunately, my experience with Auto Zipper was not pleasant. I received a quote of $675 to transport my new vehicle in an open truck from CA to PA. The agent I was dealing with was responsive initially and seemed to be up-front with me regarding costs and details. I provided a $275 deposit as requested. The pick-up from the CA dealer took longer than expected but was not too delayed. However, upon the vehicle being delivered, the truck driver called me 2 hours before arrival and said I needed to meet him at a remote truck parking lot that was 30 minutes from my house, which was not the agreed upon delivery location (which was my house). Upon arriving at the lot, the driver tells me I owe $1,000 cash (or Zelle) or he won’t hand over the keys. At such time, I call the agent to understand what caused the rate to increase $600 but they cannot be reached. As such, I was stuck paying the increased rate or my new vehicle wasn’t leaving with me. Upon finally reaching the agent, they noted that I should have received an email notifying me of the change in rate, which I confirmed I never received. I also never received a call or text notifying me. The agent then said there was nothing they could do. I never leave reviews but was compelled to write this given the way I was ripped off and the terrible experience I had with Auto Zipper. Beware of this scam!
