AmeriFreight scheduled the carrier (Ebro LLC) within the hour after I placed my order. The carrier called the afternoon of the next day to schedule pick up for later that night. The pickup was quick and on schedule. My vehicle arrived in California within one day after pickup. An inoperable car blocked my vehicle and others from being removed from the open carrier thus, it was difficult for George (driver) to give me a good estimate of delivery date/time. In addition, my schedule was not very flexible. However, George went out of his way to deliver my vehicle in good condition during a period that fit my schedule. I found this website in addition to the BBB very helpful in gathering information to select a reputable company. However, I have found that a five star rating on this website can be manipulated by the broker. For example, AmeriFreight states in one e-mail to me, "...don't forget your $20 rebate and take time to leave us a review." However, in another email to me on the same day states, "You will receive $15 for each review placed. Please note that you will not receive your cash back if you do not leave a 100%, 5 star rating, unless you contact us at reviews@amerifreight.net to let us know why you cannot leave a 5 star rating. If after you have contacted us and you still feel we could not fix where we did wrong, you can leave us a less than 100% review and still get the rebate." This email states two reviews must be completed, one on this website and another on transportreview.com. In my case, AmeriFreight handled my order promptly & professionally I would rate them a four star not a five star. They made me feel that after they obtained a carrier for me their job was done. Their customer service was OK but nothing spectacular. I feel their rebate system distorts the effectiveness of this website. Thus, I chose to give my honest review and fore go their rebate. I did not get their "approval" before submitting the review.
