Review Description
Star Trek has transporters. Real life has AmeriFreight - and considering how easy Bob made the whole experience, he might as well be related to Scotty. Or Geordi, depending on your generation. I had never shipped a car before, so putting my Mitsubishi Eclipse in strangers' hands for the long haul between Florida and Michigan was about as appealing as a Klingon buffet. Thankfully, Bob explained the process clearly, from differences between shippers and brokers to the intricacies of the bidding process and shipping options. No Romulan ale needed to digest the information. Our carrier ended up being USA Auto Transport. Operators Rick and Debbie were friendly and professional. They called us before pickup day to go over details and answer questions. My car made it to Michigan before we did, but they were kind enough to keep it at their terminal at no additional cost. The car was in the same condition I left it, albeit colder. Kudos to our driver; he's got a tough job. Bob stayed in touch throughout the process, following up after we picked up the car to make sure everything went as expected. Thanks to everyone involved for making this experience a positive one without any Ferengi surprises.
