Review Description

As a PhD student at UCLA, I was hesitant at first to ship my car from Chicago to Los Angeles, since it was a new car I just purchased at home, but seeing as I needed my car out in CA, I took the plunge. By all means, I'm glad I used AmeriFreight. They were able to get a carrier in the time I specified (there were only a few select times available), they matched the price I suggested ($650 - even cheaper than when my dad shipped his car out), and the car arrived a few hours earlier than was expected, all happy and pristine as the day I bought it. The only bump I had was that the carrier said to pay $750 in cash the day of the pickup (which was a typo on the carrier's part), and I had Jorge on the phone with them in an instant correcting them and making sure that everything was in order. I think that's pretty awesome. Plain and simple: If you're going to ship your car, use this company. As a poor grad student who desperately needed his car in LA, they got the job done safely at a price that was affordable to me. Happily satisfied.
